Mi-T Fence

Very pleased with our fence! MiT Fence installed a beautiful ornamental fence along our patio to provide security around our swimming pool. Completely satisfied with our experience with Mike and the installation crew was great! A big "Thank-you" to Mike, Pat and Justin!

What an experience this was... Mike, the salesman for MiT Fence, was quick to respond to my web inquiry for a quote. He came out to my property, took measurements, went through some options, and was on his way in no time promising a quote back within a day or two. A week or so passed by with no response so I reached out. Mike assured me that he would have a quote to me in no time. Several more days passed.... and nothing. So I reached out again. After much patience I finally received a quote, which, in all respect was a decent price. I went against my gut instinct and decided to contract with MiT fence.



The lack of communication continued from MiT with false promises on install dates, material availability, and deadlines. I felt that throughout the entire process I had to micro manage Mike and his team, otherwise I would be ripped off and not get my fence installed.



The build it's self went great, their team was in and out in one day with no mess at all. The fence is sturdy and appears to be well built. There are a few material issue concerns in terms of how the cedar was milled. The majority of the edges of the boards are extremely rough. Mike ensures that within a few weeks the weather will "clean" the boards up.



The lack of communication and response continues when it comes to any questions asked after the fact or trying to settle up on the remaining balance...



Overall, if you have no issues of communication, timeline, feeling like a priority, or even the quality of information you are being told then MiT is for you. I would suggest shopping around.

We love our fence. It took only 3 days for them to put it up. We ordered a 6' White PVC Fence and it came out very nice and sturdy. Our dogs love it and so do we and the price was decent. Would recommend.

My boyfriend and I had our fence put up about 5 months ago, and had to remove it a few weeks ago for our patio to get poured. After moving it back the top connection snapped off. I called mike to ask if he could fix it for us, since we are under a 10 year warranty and only 4 months old, he said he would send some men over to fix. Three guys came over and had it done in about 10 min. Why it was a three person job, I have no idea. I asked to have them quote me before they even touched the fence, because mike said he wasn't sure if he could have them fix it without charging us. He said they would quote me, which they DIDN'T! Mike called my boyfriend that same morning and said we owed him $75 for this 10 min. job on a 4 month old fence. Even though in his SO many years of experience he had never seen this part break...blah blah blah! The second my boyfriend asked him about what our "so called warranty" all entails, he freaked out and starting yelling at him. After hearing this, I wanted to call him and just try to get to the bottom of it, and find out what the warranty really does cover so we know. Once again, when I called mike started yelling at me, as I sat there calmly, and had to ask the owner of this company to "please calm down and stop yelling I'm only asking you to explain something for me." SO UNPROFESSIONAL! I work in customer service also, I would never speak to a customer the way he did. I would highly recommend going elsewhere for a fence. Pretty sure the reason he was freaking out when asked about the warranty was because his warranty probably doesn't exist. Thank god for homeowners insurance I guess! Never going back to Mi-T fence again.

Very pleased with Mi-T Fence. I got 4 quotes & Mike did a great job of consulting me on a fence that would meet my expectations for quality & be within our price range. Extremely pleased with Mike’s prompt follow up & the crew’s quality of work for a fair price! Just got the fence put it a few days ago, so can’t speak to the warranty, but had a great experience thus far.

Mi-T Fence put up a very long/large fence for me last year for my GSD-HARLEY. Did a very good job, came out to fix a problem we had with the gate later and are just plain, nice people. Seems to be mostly a family business. Seem like caring people, Mike is very patient. I expected a lot and am satisfied with the results. I will use them again someday, for a fence at our next house. Thanks Mike, Pat and crew!

Everything up to the point that the project was completed was great. Six days after the installation I found a small area that needed to be fixed. We were told that we should be able to fix it on our own with pliers! The Contract states that they warranty the materials and workmanship for one year but moving forward I have no confidence this will be honored. I used Mi T Fence LLC instead of multiple other companies (with much lower quotes) because Mike (and the Contract) said they stood by their work. So if you want a fence with a true warranty on the materials or installation I would look elsewhere. Please learn from my mistake. Thanks.
