Kids are excited to come here, and it shows! Part of their excitement has been modeled by owner and teacher Jordan, who reminds students to say, "That sounds exciting!" when he challenges them. And they ARE excited to work hard and to learn and grow. They run up the steps to the gym, smiling and ready for whatever challenge life throws at them.

This place focuses primarily on kick boxing with other mixed martial arts for defense and fitness. They have decent prices and great personalized instruction. The class size isn't huge so there is a lot of contact with the instructors and a great group of students. It's an excellent workout and feels awesome to be learning something every time!

Great place for the kids. Jordan (owner, instructor) is serious in the assertion of authority and exercise of discipline, yet very patient when teaching children. Dane (instructor) is extremely knowledgeable and professional. The rest of the staff is awesome as well.
This is not one of those small studios stuffed in a grocery store plaza. This place is very spacious with plenty of equipment and even a separate boxing ring, Close parking is of no problem, ever.
They have a very fair grading system. The children have the opportunity to move up in the ranks as quickly as their devotion and determination allow. After a rigorous training session, the kids play games that are geared to improve their skills, yet are fun and exciting so it doesnt seem like just work, work, work. It keeps the atmosphere light and fun at the end of their session. The kids love it and are eager to return.
I plan on keeping my son enrolled here throughout his school years.

Always a positive experience at SMAF. My son Has been coming here for 6 months and continues to love it. Martial arts skills and how to utilize them are taught in a positive and fun atmosphere, by instructors who make great role models for the kids.
