They do not have a clear pricing chart. I got acrylic nails, and on the chart it said $34. My total came to $55 and when I asked why they said it was because I got two colors (I got a French tip). Although their sign has the "and up," they fail to list that the $34 acrylic nails are nails that are one solid color. They also fail to clearly advertise the fact they do not accept debit/credit. The only place where this is advertised is on a small sign on the wall by where you pay. I also slipped and fell due to a puddle of water mixed with wearing the foam flip-flops from my manicure. One of the customers was very concerned on whether or not I was okay and helped me up, but the employee was not as concerned. She asked if I was okay and that was it. They failed to clean up the water on the floor after I said that was what I slipped on. Although I did laugh after I fell, I still think they should have wiped up the water to prevent future slips.
Although they do good work, I believe they fail to clearly show their charges. They cover it with the "and up," but fail to show what the minimal charge entails, and what causes charges to be higher. If I knew my total was going to come out to $105 I would not have come here. By looking at the price chart I was expecting under $70. It also would have been helpful to know that cards was not accepted. I had to have a friend spot me because I did not have other forms of payment and was not noticed until it came time to pay.

I purchased a $50 gift certificate from Rapid City Journal "Today's Deal" for Impressive Nails. I gave it to my daughters as a gift and they went to have their manicures. When they arrived they showed the man their gift certificate and told him they had $50 and he told them to "pick a nail" and showed them the designs to choose from. While there, the employees spoke a foreign language the entire time and never spoke to my daughters or asked them any questions. After their nails were done a woman gave them a total of $116.60 as the balance due. My daughter called me at home and said that they were being charged an extra $66.60. I went to the business and asked why they were being charged so much, the woman said they put a powder on the nails and it cost $58.30 each. I told her they only wanted a manicure and asked how much it was, she said it was $21 each but they put powdwer on them so I owed $66.60 more. I told her it was ridiculous that they charged them extra for something that they didn't ask for after they were told they had $50 and showed them the gift certificate. Extra charges were not discussed or agreed upon. The employee was told they had $50 and was shown the gift certificate. Nothing extra was discussed unless it was in a foreign language and my daughters weren't aware of what was said.
