Inspire Salon

Long term travel is exhausting. I travel a lot for work and have come to rely on the hospitality staff at the hotels I stay at for recommendations on great local businesses. In need of some rest and relaxation, I inquired about quality salons or day spas in the area. The front desk attendant pointed me towards Inspire Salon and Spa, and I'm so glad she did.



The location of Inspire is a little bit hard to find, but with a preliminary Google Maps search I felt like I had a good idea where I was going. Without mapping it, I definitely would have had trouble finding it. Located on the second floor of a commercial building on a busy street, I was a bit leery of what to expect of this salon until the atmosphere transformed when I walked through the door. I was greeted first by the overwhelmingly amazing aroma of Aveda, then by a smiley young woman behind the front desk. She took my coat and offered me a beverage. In my mid afternoon slump, I asked for a coffee which was brought to me. She waited for my first sip and approval. Unfortunately it was lukewarm. She apologized, took it back and brewed me a fresh new pot. With my hot and fresh coffee in hand she gave me a tour of the salon. Inspire offers almost everything you could want in a Day Spa. The atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious with acoustic music playing overhead.



I was excited for my manicure and pedicure, but more-so excited for my time to unwind. After choosing a polish color for my toes, I was escorted back to the pedicure area by Stephanie. Inspire's pedicure area is conveniently tucked away in the back corner of the salon. This made for the most relaxing pedicure I have ever had. I looked out of the big second story window at a stunning view. Boy, that massage chair was nice! My neglected feet were thankful afterwards. Stephanie was pleasant and made good conversation. After my pedicure it was time for my manicure. Stephanie recommended a Shallac manicure as I travel a lot and its supposed to last longer than regular polish. The manicure was great, and the Shallac polish is 100% dry after it cures under a UV light so there's no risk of smudging your manicure as soon as you leave the salon (how cool is that?!). My first experience at Inspire was great; welcoming and knowledgeable staff, beautiful decor, relaxing atmosphere with a great view from the 2nd floor.



I had some time left during my stay in Milwaukee and I liked Stephanie so much that I returned a week later for a color and cut. My style and color was way overdue, I knew I wanted a change but I did not know exactly what I wanted. Stephanie did a lengthy consultation with me, showing me multiple hair swatches and comparing them on my skin tone until we found a color that I was excited about. I got some red added to my natural color with some really nice subtle highlights. She gave me a cut that's easy to style, which is perfect for my on-the-go lifestyle. I feel like a new woman!



I don't normally leave reviews because of my busy lifestyle, but I feel that the staff at Inspire Salon and Spa deserve recognition. The whole staff at Inspire was kind, friendly and attentive to me. I enjoyed my stay in Milwaukee and discovering Inspire Salon and Spa was the cherry on top. When I return to Milwaukee I will definitely return to see the staff at Inspire again.

I went to inspire in Franklin WI for a haircut and partial highlight. I was charged $150 without tip for this service which was outrageously expensive!! I usually go to an alternative, high end, location near by and pay nearly half this price. They stylist did a good job but my normal stylist does just as well, so I will not be returning. Outrageous prices should be listed upon arrival, not at the end, when the service has already been provided. Don't make my same mistake by going here.

I recently visited Inspire Salon for a Groupon I had purchased for a herbal body wrap. I was really impressed and came out of the service room REALLY relaxed. I was very happy that I was treated not only as a " groupon customer," but as if I have been a client for years. The staff was SO nice and welcoming. I definitely will be returning !

I can not help but feel defensive when I read or hear anything negative about this salon. I have been a returning client of this establishment for many years, in fact I followed these ladies from a previous location. I don't see just one specific stylist as it is too hard for me to choose between them. I do however make sure to get all my beauty needs taken care of here. They are full service and offer just about anything you could possibly imagine, from manicures and pedicures to anything dealing with hair as well facials, waxing, and massage. The new salon is location on 27th street in franklin and it is apsolutely beautiful inside with an amazingly relaxing atmosphere. Not only can i go here to relax after a long day of working or carting my kids around but i can also always garuntee a good time and a good laugh. These ladies make your average stop at the beauty shop an all around fun experience while consistantly maintaning a professional setting. I recomend Inspire to everyone I know with confidence that they will love it just as much as I do.

I have been a faithful client of this salon for 3 years and absolutely love it!!! My hair dressers name is Rachel and she is so friendly. She always wraps my hair with a hot towel and gives me a relaxing hand massage at the shampoo bowl.

From time to time, when I can't get in with Rachel, I see Michelle and she is just as awesome!

I've been here twice to use groupons. My pedi went nearly 30 min long and they had no spa flip flops. I was left sitting for nearly 20 minutes without any apologies for my massage appointment. Both times, staff were nice enough but very informal and unprofessional. Nothing special- won't be returning.

Recently experienced a haircut at Inspire Salon. The atmosphere, layout, interior design was very contemporary/modern and very clean. Request Alexis Bastian for any type of style: haircut, color, perm, etc. Her famous haircut is called the "Awesome Blossom". Besides being awesome at her job, her crazy fun personality makes the experience even better than the reclining leather chairs you get a shampoo in. Will definitely go back. Keep it up Alexis!

What a awsome place! Your nose can lead you to the door of the salon, for it smells so beautiful, makes it cozy! The front desk helps makes you feel right at home. The salon is clean and the owner must have fantastic taste in decorating. This place is amazing!! The staff dresses cool and are all working in stylish hair themselves. If I were a stylist, I would love to work here. The gal that did my hair gave me the best shampoo and the best razor cut ever. Thank you for my new look. I will be back for sure and with friends

The only way this place "inspired" me was to let you know how vulgar the owner Patricia is. I was shocked at the conversations being held on the floor by her and her stylists in front of my 14 year old daughter. At no time is it professional to curse and talk as sexually suggestive as she did in front of clients and especially a 14 year old child. I enjoy taking my daughter with me to the salon to get our hair done, its our way of bonding and I had no idea what to expect with this place. I was looking forward to trying someplace new and am shocked at what I was exposed to....the grass is not always greener. We never will be back and will stick to our salon, where we can enjoy our time together and be pampered instead of exposed to rude and vile behavior.
