Island Memorial Funeral Home

It is my privilege to write this review for Island Memorial Funeral home! I attended my friend's mother's funeral yesterday in NJ, believe me when I say that the funeral was fit for royalty! Island went all out starting with the wake all the way to the reception following the service! From the owner, to the manager and the entire staff, Island made sure that the family feel comforted. Everything was well organized, ran smoothly with love, care and compassion. They added their special touch in every aspect. They had a horse carriage with the deceased's name written on the side of it, police security leading the convoy, three limos for the family. They even wrote a poem printed next to a framed picture of the deceased.

At the cemetery, I walked up to the owner and manager, I shook their hands and told them, if I die where I live in TX, I want my remains carried back to NJ for them to handle my funeral!

Just when I thought they were done, at the reception I saw the owner and the manager actively helping, making sure that it all goes smoothly! They have absolutely nothing to gain in the reception since my friend hired a private catering service to handle that part.

Last night at the family's home, the 3 sisters were crying on and off, but their faces all lit up, every time someone mentioned the wonderful job done by Island! Everyone had their favorite part of how Island handled the funeral, and the mood autonaticly changed, to make place to a lively, laughter filled conversation! Island memorial, I flew in from Texas to attend that funeral, on behalf of the family, let me say THANK YOU, for helping ease my friends' sorrow! Kudos guys! You really have a good thing going on in New Jersey!
