        We work only for our members. We do not own a mortuary or cemetery and receive no payment of any kind from them.

        General Info
        We are a non-profit organization incorporated in 1958 to help members obtain simple and dignified arrangements for burial and cremation. It does this by working with participating mortuaries and a cemetery to provide services to members at pre-established prices. The society does not sell insurance or pre-paid burial plans. It is not a mortuary or a for profit business. It's orientation is focused on consumer protection and it is led by a volunteer, unpaid Board of Directors elected by the membership. The society makes arrangements with participating mortuaries to provide for basic services at low, fully transparent prices. We service the needs of members in all of San Diego County.

        I have used the San Diego Memo...

        I have used the San Diego Memorial Society's services on many occasions during the past 30 years for various members of my family and several friends. I can't say enough about the wonderful help they have provided me with plus the large amount of time and money they have saved me. They make everything so simple and so very easy for end of life needs. They sell you nothing but offer all of the help you need at your most vulnerable time of need. You are missing a wonderful opportunity if you don't take advantage of their wonderful services.
