Is the 4th time they take $30 out of my bank account and every time I call or go up there they say is the yearly fee they have but why get $120 out of my account if it's only $30!!!!!

DO NOT BELIEVE THE FACEBOOK SCORE FOR THIS GYM. It is total bogus as you can see very unhappy customers.

Ive been hit with at least 6 late fees not including their bogus return fee adds another 10$ added to each fee NONE WHICH WAS MY REASON. HIT WITH FEES AS SOON AS I SIGNED UP 1st 2 months. Was told it was going to be compensated couple days after manager moves to a different location. Ive been at the gym for 2 years and I can finally say I am leaving this establishment for good. They lie constantly to make you pay and they have no repercussions afterwards. BEWARE OF THIS GYM EVEN HQ WILL LIE TO YOU. HQ is no better and staff at the actual site are HELPLESS. Leave this gym while you can and join a Better Business Bureau credit gym WHICH THEY ARE NOT.

I've been a loyal member for 4 years now and as the years go by, the gym gets more and more stingy and rude. I had a buddy of mine drive an hour to come train with me in the morning and the girl at the front desk wouldn't let him come as a guest with me because there was no one there to talk to him. Such bs. We even asked to just buy a day pass and she still didn't let him come workout. He drove an hour to this gym and she was an uptight b**** Completely ridiculous.You cant even use the TRX equipment in the back room because they have locked it for "trainers only" and the clients. It wasn't like that when I signed up, complete bs.

I was going over my bills and noticed a charge from them. Apparently they were able to weasel there way through a loophole. I originally signed my son up because that was what he asked for , a membership to a gym. Believe me, that in itself was an ordeal. Like two sharks circling us. Trying all the pressure tactics to have him sign with a personal trainer for only about 300 something a month. The statement came out of one guys mouth. "Well, don't you want him to have the best?, don't you want to be a good Mom?" Yeah, single parent, my son already knew what he needed to do. He had been using the school's gym. My son was amazed that I didn't budge or cave from the bullying. Here's the thing, he's moved out, almost 2years now. Soo, they assume it's ok to just renew this at their leisure? Bank tomorrow, certified letter to their corporate, i have a network of attorneys if they want it to get to that point, I've got nothing but time and my motivation is principle. Ultimately they're going to have to deal with a supreme judge later on for their actions.

This company charged a large sign up fee for the $9.95 membership & I also signed up for the FitExtreme for an additional $39.95 per month. The facilities were clean & the faculty was knowledgable and friendly. However when my debit card was compromised I called to let their customer service know & I was assured everything was fine to just call back & update my information. Two months and several hundred dollars later my bill is incorrect, there's never a manager available & they still have not cancelled my membership dispute multiple requests! There's an 800# that calls several times a day requesting I call back to speak with a person & when I call back after being placed on an 5-7 min hold I'm transferred to a managers voicemail & of course my messages go unanswered. I filed a complaint with BBB & a very rude lady called to inform me that I have to pay the bill nothing can be done to adjust it in any way & after 90 days it goes into collections. That is their conflict resolution. So long story over, worst gym experience ever!

I don't want to give one star becau se I can't,I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW ME IN CORPORATE I'm member F c487863,I THINK YOUR WHOLE COMPANY IS A SCAM I WILL NEVER GIVE ANY GYM AUTO PAYMENT ANY MORE, I THINK YOU ALL ARE LIARS & thieves,I called my credit union and reported an uunauthorized payment.I told them you stole my money.

Wwwwooowwwwww. I can hardly believe these reviews. My decision has been swayed. No one likes People messing with their money/income, nor be treated with disrespect for whatever reason . I don't care if it's $5.00 a month, you mislead them or with hold anyone's hard earned money, then thst places you in the category of POND SCUM SUCKER. The employees posting reviews on here obviously got paid and perhaps a bonus for whoever had the best^/ most convincing. You can't possibly think people will believe reviews go from 1 star to 5 stars. That in itself is idiotic and funny how there are direct comments about amenities listed as if to copy directly from brochure, or every class is mentioned knowing that NO ONE would know that unless work there. I've seen this dreadful occupation scam the public and stand there as if to argue "nu uh" or open mouth shock " how dare you! :I did not" . Take a look rejects- your corp. office dictates your customer service and that is pretty bad. I know you get paid like a pitiful weekly salary working 12 hour shifts, and corporate does NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR ANYONE ELSE. Take note. ...this many people CANT be wrong. They all said the same thing. Wonder why sales are low? Look around. Listen. And wait till you get scammed by the same people. ..TOLD YA SO.

I've never been a big review writer but I HAVE to speak on this behalf: I got scammed by fitness connection. The $9.95/month seems nice...however what it comes with is: 1. Over $100 sign up fee, and if you cancel your account due to financial hardship, you're required to pay that fee again if you ever decide to come back.

2. Yearly dues that cost around $20

3. One big overly crowded room with mediocre equipment

4. VERY VERY rude, trashy, unprofessional staff. The guy signing me up was dropping "F" bombs left and right, and was way pushy.

5. If you want to cancel you have to write a letter and mail it to corporate, which takes several weeks to process, and you are still charged for the following 30 days from the time corporate receives the letter.



I signed up because a close friend was a member and I was motivated for a work out buddy. In hindsight this possibly was one of the worst mistakes of my entire life and this scam gym should be put out of business.

The gym itself is nice. However, the company that runs the training program is not managed well. I'm on my second month and have been through 2 trainers (not by my choice). I loved the 2nd trainer...a great fit for me. I had an appt set up and texted the trainer to verify our appt a few days before (we had set up the appt almost 2 weeks ago) and he told me he was no longer with the company. Okay it's the end of the month and now I'm like "How am I going to get in my last workout which I already paid for?" I'm hoping the training manager can fix this so that I don't lose the workout session, but they should have called me to tell me my trainer had left. I found this out 10 days after the trainer left. He said the company was supposed to contact me. They had plenty of time to let me know. I'm really unhappy about this.

this is the WORST business on the face of the planet..

the people in the HR department AND customer service department hung up on me.. not once, but TWICE!!

also, they will charge you for fees in the middle of the month when you cancelled at the beginning of the month. VERY shady business! do NOT give them your money because they will rob you..

AND! the facility is not even that great.. the basketball court is only half court, the customer service people SUCK and are rude.. they are RUDE RUDE RUDE and they don't deserve your money..

The gym itself is nice. Especially liked the kids club and all for $10 a month. To pay for membership it must be setup with autodraft which was fine. Until it came time to cancel. You can't cancel through your gym. They tell you to call corporate to cancel and then when you do you find out you have to mail..yes mail...a letter to the corporate office to cancel. Then they don't even cancel it for another 30 days after THEY receive your letter. I've now had three charges since I mailed my letter though they've received it. Already had one reversed but without their help. Had to go through my bank. If something is autodrafted it should not be this difficult to cancel. I know its only a ploy so they receive more money

Stay away it's nothing but a scAm! They are just out to get your money!! My membership was supposed to be $10 a month. I signed up in December, and I haven't been since because I've been sick. I've been trying to cancel my membership and they keep giving me the run around. They've been charging me over $100 a month since December. Causing all my account to go negative. So far for the month of April I've had 4 charges. It's BS!! Stay away beware. Go somewhere else where your money isn't being stolen! It's the biggest mistake you'll ever make by signing up with this greedy, low life of a gym!!! They get less than a BIG FAT GOOSE EGG FROM ME!!!

Well my first couple times i really liked it but then things started getting weird. Let me start off by saying that i wasJ lured in by the 10.99 a month but like always theres a catch. That didnt bother me much. The price is affordable in my opinion. Its got many machines for.both cardio and strength as well. Theres a sauna too. The only thing.missing is a hot tub and steam room. There is also a lot of diversity which is something i really love, youll find anything from Anglo Saxons, Blacks, the chinese, thr mexican and most of them are nice. First few times were great but the guy who signed me up, i wont say his name, became too friendly. He would always go workout with me, i thought he was just being friendly so i didnt mind, that was until it happened continously, he even took my headphones from me . He said he found them on the ground, made me talk to him. He also asked if i was planning on going in the sauna so that he could catch up on his break or when his shift ended. One day he watched as i showered...showering next to me, i was disgusted, scared, alone. He was trying to make small talk about the superbowl...i just said the 49ers and left quickly as he finished himself off. I packed and left quickly. Other than this creep its a fun place, did i mention theres a kids.club?

Horrlible customer service. Just Say NO, don't do it, you'll be sorry.

I love this gym! It is so CLEAN, and the staff is so FRIENDLY, and I love the fact they have sanitizer and paper towels to wipe down the machines with if you need. I've worked out at a few other places in Arlington and this is by far the nicest. And CHEAPEST! They have several brands of each type of machine (since they each are a little different) so even if you just want to do one exercise there are 3-5 different machines for it. They only thing that is missing is a hot tub and pool, but oh well. With the money I save I can buy one :)

Ok, so I haven't had to cancel so I'm not sure how much of a hassle it is, but for $10 a month a slight hassle to cancel when I have to won't be met with such animosity from me. This gym costs three times less than any other gym in the area... Golds, LA, 24 Hour, you name it. If you find that the classes or training are too expensive compared to other places than fine, but for people like me who go there to work out on their own the place is just fine for the 10 bucks it costs me. The place used to be a 24 hour fitness for which I used to pay $35/hour and the quality of the gym was exactly the same back then as it is now with the connection fitness sign up front instead. So, if you're looking for a place to work out and apparently not for classes or training then this is the best for the price.

My biggest complaint with this gym is how crowded the classes were. There just weren't enough room to exercise and the room got extremely hot.



My second biggest issue with them is their poor customer service. I emailed their membership department notifying them that I was moving and wanted to cancel my membership. They never replied. I sent them a second email, once again I received no response.

Finally when I called they told me I needed to send a certified letter to a PO BOX address stating that I wanted to cancel my account. They never apologize for not responding and showed no flexibility on their policy.



I guess you get what you pay for!

This place is a joke. Notice how 90% of the reviews are 1 star, and the rest are 5 stars. That is because this trash gym run by complete a-holes has their employees post favorable reviews on the clock.

dont join this gym. if you have the money go elsewhere. lots of people who dont take working out seriously: young kids, people running in jeans, no one wipes down the machines, etc. not to mention it is harder to get out of a membership than they lead onto. cant cancel in gym. hard to update credit card info also. have to do everything through corporate in houston and they are unorganized. the gym and staff are as cheap as the price.
