We needed a privacy fence installed during the winter of 2016. They were prompt with responding to our needs and their price was far and above the most reasonable. They provided suggestions for some issues we had about installation and made great suggestions. We have highly recommend them for your fence needs.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

with Action Fence of Michigan, (Royal Oak)

Had a terrible experience with Terry, the owner of Action Fence. I authorized a work order and gave the owner a deposit. He promised he would have the project completed this week. After numerous phone calls and messages left that went unreturned, the owner finally picked up after I questioned the receptionist regarding a Friday timeframe... which then became a Monday completion date. He said he no longer wanted to do the work.

I wish I had never done business with them, next time I'll review the Yelp comments. If I had reviewed Yelp I would have seen the many of comments were NEGATIVE. In retrospect, he did me a favor by refusing to complete the work as promised. One post stated the company's current rating on the BBB website is an F or the lowest score possible. What a horrible experience with Action Fence.

These guys are not professionals at all. After having an awful experience with another company several years ago, I tried getting a fence again this year and had yet another awful experience with Action Fence. They simply do not respond or communicate and the office staff is very unprofessional. Happy to say I had my fence installed by another local company before Action would even do my estimate. do not recommend at all.

My husband and I met with the owner, Terry, from Action Fence for a quote. Aside from a competitive price, I was impressed with how easy he made it for us. He came to our home on a weekend, very professional and prepared with a ton of options, styles, etc... We felt very confident in using this fence company after talking with other companies. Once the work began it was so systematic, clean and easy. All the workers were so kind and respectful. The fence is beautiful! It is not often that I find something done right the first time. Thank you Action Fence!! We will definitely use you when we move into our next home and be sure to recommend to all friends and family!

Incredible experience! We had called other companies and never even got a call back. Called Action fence and not only got a call back a short time later but we also received a quote that same day. We had a beautiful side gate installed and we were so impressed that a month later we had a back privacy fence installed. So happy with our experience! I would highly recommended this company to anyone interested in fencing of any kind.

Terry and his staff were wonderful! Terry is a great communicator so you always know what's going on, when people will be at your house, when there might be delays, etc. Terry's pricing is also very competitive. We got other quotes and none came close. The fence itself is great quality and looks great! Our dogs are VERY happy!!! We recommend Action Fence without reservation. Thanks Terry!

Terry and all the people at Action Fence are definitely a class act. From the first contact with them i was very impressed. The people that came out to install the fence were very courteous and and did a great job with the installation as well as clean-up. All of the "promises" that were made by the Company were kept and their pricing was VERY COMPETITIVE!! I would definitely have them back to do more projects!

I had a similar experience to the reviews below regarding needed repairs afterward. There's no doubt that everything is just fine at initial installation, which is what most of the reviews below rate. We needed a repair to our fence about 2 years later and Terry came out and gave a reasonable quote, but then never returned any calls. I believe his sister is the one who answer's the phone, and she would continually say that she will give Terry a message, but he never returns your call when it comes to a repair. I want a company that stands behind their work later, not just an owner who makes you think everything is great in the beginning. As someone else pointed out, check out the Better Business Bureau rating on this company. It's the lowest possible rating, and the reported issues are service related. I would not use or refer this company again.

Workmanship is outstanding. Crew was very professional and pleasant to have around. Site was cleaned up and fence looks beautiful! I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

My experience with Action Fence was GREAT! They were affordable, reliable, and wonderful customer service. Mr. Gladstone offered extensive knowledge with regards to the fence and the way it should be built. Wow, he was right. I feel very confident in recommending Action Fence to everyone I know. Initial this company put a fence in for us and were satisfactory in service. However, after construction a few years later several parts of our fence needs to be removed therefore needing reinstallation in the spring along with an extension. We have called and spoke to the owner Mr. Gladstone and his assistant every week for what is now the ninth week in a row. Each week they tell us we are on the schedule or they will likely come this week and never show up or call. At the same time, they seem to be building fence right in our neighborhood, giving quotes out, etc. If I could do it over I would not put my hard-earned dollars into a fence project with a unreliable contractor such as Action Fence.

Action Fence delivers a superior product at a great price. I recently had them replace a vinyl gate that was installed by another company as it became damaged this winter. The gate that Action Fence installed was an immediate improvement upon the older gate and I'm confident that I will not encounter any problems like that with this gate. Thanks, Action Fence!!!

I had beautifu fence installed by Action Fence in December 2011. From start to finish I found this company to be professional and prompt. Terry was very helpful with the design and layout of the fence. I was on a time crunch to get it done before the winter freeze, and with the help of mother nature they ackomplished the task with ease.

I would highly recommend this company, and I am a fairly high- maintance consumer!

This business is no longer reliable. Check out the Better Business Bureau's report on this company (current rating is "F"). Owner doesn't return phone calls, shows up late or on wrong date, supplies get delivered in advance without notice, and most importantly, owner blows you off if you need a repair done later. The guys that work for owner are great, but unfortunately the owner is ruining this once reputable business.

We had a privacy fence installed by Action Fence. From the owner, his sister who is the secretary to the team that installed the fence they all presented a professional manner with skills to match. The fence material, installation and appearance all are of superior quality. It is a family owned business and their family pride comes through. If you choose them for your job I am sure you will be pleased !
