I love karen at poochie barber and staff , karen i thank you so much for helping my girl I own you !!!! let me tell you i have been going to poochie barber for 3 years and grooming my girl on a regular grooming time frame always looking great, well i lost my job and there for could no longer afford to groom her i went to karen and not only did she not charge me extra but did so much more and i love her for that my g irl looks great and i know she was badly matted most place would have charged me a arm and a leg but not poochie barber karen i thank you over and over again.
I wouldn't go back if you paid me. They didn't seem to care too much about the dogs. Small place, crowded. If you don't love dogs or have patience for them then why are you grooming? DON'T GO!

I am the owner of the poochie barber I don't seem to see were you are coming from because iam in business for 29 years and i treat every poochie that walk's in my door as if thay were mine!! yes my place is small and wish i could go bigger but i love my location. I am really busy every day so yes it is crowded but i also make every dog that walks out of there beautiful and never there all day each person get's my personal attention so iam sorry you felt that way but still don't understand why the negtive posting just because we are so busy don't mean we don't have patience and or a great shop. sorry that you felt that way Thank you for the input! it is very helpful poochie barber
I applaud Karen for responding to this negative review. I have a yellow lab that has been visiting Karen’s shop once or twice a year for a good bath, brushing and nail trim since he was 6 months old. Being a floppy eared breed, he is prone to ear infections and I have to clean his ears twice a week. He is now 100 pounds and almost 5 and I have never had an issue at her shop. Her staff is courteous, Niko has always left happy and smells wonderful! Keep up the good work and we will be seeing you soon.
I took my dogs there twice. Stupid me! Both times my dogs got ear infections because they didn't dry their ears well. The grooming ended up costing me 10 times the cost of the groom & my dogs had to suffer the pain of an infection! Even though a good friend recommended this gtoomer (the reason I went twice), I'll never go back, & never recommend it! Pet owners beware!

I am the owner of the poochie barber, and would like to respond to your review!I do know that a ear infection is a on going medical problem with alot of dog's in certain breeds I alway clean the dogs ears with every grooming and with that being said the ears are cleaned with a cotton ball and Q'tips so there is never water in the ears when a dog goes home, If your dog has a infection you are told to treat it and clean them 2 a week at home, There are 2 or 3 types of ear infection and not any of them can be caused by one grooming visit, infection are settled in a ear canal for awhile and if i do spot a bad ear canal you are told, people do like to blame the groomer and i do hope that this respond help to clear this matter and i wish that you would have contacted me personally about your issue! I have been in business for 28 years and I am committed to quality
