Sono Bello Denver

Did my abdomen and skin excision here about two weeks ago and couldn’t be happier with the decision to finally bite the bullet and put my big girl panties on and take the plunge. It was such a smooth procedure. I came in at 1400 for the pre-op: did measurements and drawings, got my IV placed (which kudos because normally I’m a hard stick and they did it in one go), took my my meds then within a hour was back in the OR ready to rock and roll. I was a bit concerned with how well I would tolerate the lidocaine as my only anesthesia, but it honestly wasn’t that bad. The initial numbing is uncomfortable but after the thirty minutes it’s tolerable. I’m not going to lie and tell you that you will not feel anything; but it’s more of a I just got punch in the gut as opposed to I just got a sharp object cramped in my abdomen. Which... I’ll take the former than the latter any day. But I relaxed mostly with my eyes closed and listened to 80s rock and chit-chatted with my surgery. And when an area did hurt, I just told him that that’s a bit painful and he numbed me a bit kore and came back afterwards.
Overall it was a pretty cool experience. And I’m super happy with the results so far and know they will only get better. I’m pretty swollen still but the difference is noticeable. My clothes are baggy and I love looking at myself I’m the mirror when normally that was not the case. I cannot wait until my swelling goes down completely and I get to see the total transformation.
Recovery wise, I was up and about day two. I finished my surgery at 7 pm on a Saturday and cleaned my house Sunday afternoon. I didn’t really feel the aches and pains until Thursday, but that’s mostly because I don’t understand limitations and overdid it. And that’s with having 9” of vertical skin removed and my abdomen tightened up. So trust me, it’s not as bad as you’re imagining.

Well I had my procedure done in January of this year. First I want to say that Dillion at the front desk is a very kind and professional young man and he’s about the only one I could appreciate at that place. My experience was awful. I elected to undergo the liposuction procedure however my doctor or the whole team made a mistake by not updating any of my paperwork prior to the day of the procedure so I ended up receiving far more liposuction than I paid for. I endured way more pain than I needed to and now I’m left with scaring and damages to my body that I never asked for.

I had my first appointment at beginning of May. It went well answered most of my questions. I had my Venus on May 27th it went very well. Kathy did a great job with Venus. I am nervous about the Lip hoping every thing goes well on June 17 wish me luck.

What a life changing experience. From my initial consult to post care follow up, this team is unbelievably professional, thoughtful and truly caring. I'm told my results aren't common for a first week post op visit. They normally see my results after the first three months. I lost nearly 12 inches and already lowered my weight, even with the post surgery swelling. If you are contemplating this procedure... Think no more. Just do it!

I felt well-cared for by professionals at Sonobello Denver. The front desk staff were warm and accommodating, all four nurses I interacted with at pre-op, procedure and post-op appointments were friendly and knowledgeable, and Dr. Millard answered any questions I had and called to check in on me in the evening, after my procedure. I am four weeks into my recovery, and the results are dramatic in the best way - I think this was just the jump start I needed to get going with a healthier lifestyle.

The 1st 2 days is rough and the procedure can be very uncomfortable in area's, I was very sore but could work after 2 days and I am a hair stylist so I stand all day. I was amazed at how much my belly, hips, and waist look so thin again and I'm only week 2.

The W-plasty procedure itself was completely painless. In fact, I experienced no discomfort following the procedure. I'm now five weeks beyond the surgery and the healing is going extremely well. The incisions are barely noticeable and my 72 year old neck now looks perfectly youthful. Dr. Hendrick did excellent work and was very adept at putting me at ease throughout the procedure. I also found the entire Sono Bello staff both warm and professional.
