        I have to reply to the woman who raved about having a birthday party there: let me add the flip side: the party, for up to eight girls and usually less, was going to cost almost $500! That is not a party, it is a coronation! That is the problem with Brat Pack: they are "greedy," in the words of some friends and former customers, and they nickel and dime you to death. They put in an old movie and think they can charge $30 for a trim. Then they tell you that it is easier to cut clean hair and charge $6 extra for a wash. Then, if you need a bang trim, be ready to pay an extra $8. All of the charges are ridiculous and for what: a chair shaped like an animal? Several movies going on at the same time and competing with each other? No thank you. And yes, as with anywhere else, they have some stylists who are better than others and it is definitely possible to ask for one style and find that your child has received another. It happened to us and although we complained, we never received any type of compensation, just a casual, "It will grow back." There are plenty of salons where the stylists are good with children, able to listen to simple instructions, and not ready to charge the national debt for a few snips of the scissors. Brat Pack is not worth the money, as you will leave feeling like you did not get what you paid for.
