I would say that the customer service and management staff are actually some of the worse I’ve ever come across. The way they treat their longtime customers is deplorable. I can only imagine if they treat human beings like this, how they must be treating the animals who can’t speak up for themselves. I experienced greed, blatant disrespect, and theft by them. They did procedures on my animals I did not approve of, upsold me on products and services I did not need and then stole my money outright.

The best experience at low prices and knowledgeable staff

This place is great. The prices are a lot more affordable than other clinics. That's is a welcome relief when you're already stressed about your pet. The staff was very friendly. The only downside was the long wait, but they fit me in same day so i was grateful for that, and it made the wait understandable. I highly recommend this place.

We have been coming to you for ten years now, and you have taken such goo care of Koko & Tiny Teeny, who we lost in April. You did everything you could for him and showed so much love for Teeny. This is my 2nd review about Family Friends Vet Hospital but after my most recent experience, I feel that an additional review is warranted! I feel if it were not for Dr. Sidhu and the staff at Family Friends, I truly believe my dog, Romeo, would have died! I was on vacation in Europe. A week into my trip, a friend called me to say that Romeo did not look well and had been relieving himself throughout the house. Days later, my friend stopped by to check on Romeo again. His condition had worsened so she drove him to Family Friends. Dr. Sidhu knew that something was very wrong. He lost 3lbs, was severely dehydrated and very sick. The X-Rays & bloodwork came back normal. They checked for pancreatitis and the results were positive. Romeo would only take food from Dr. Sidhu, Dr. Sidhu came in early every morning for 3 days to hold Romeo and hand feed him! After 3 days at Family Friends, Romeo is on the road to a full recovery & the bill was a fraction of what most Vets would charge!

We went in for an emergency and ended up with all of our dogs there getting caught up on shots and medicines. The staff is very kind and helpful.

I was very happy with this Veterinarian Office during the couple of years we went here. They were always attentive and caring to the needs of my dog & cat. Then very suddenly they called me several years ago and said, "We are closing our office, you will have pay off your bill and find a new vet". It was expressed so completely unprofessionally and strangely, Also such a let down because I didn't know what to do about my pet's needs. So Ok, I made my payment in full (I was on a payment plan for an expensive procedure) and I had to start over and find a new Vet. So weird and disappointing, they left my pets high & dry and they lost a good customer.

I called this place hoping someone would have compassion for a stray I took In, and be able to help this beautiful animal! She scratched herself so badly it left a gaping wound by her neck, and the cat won't let me care for it,while being in a lot of pain! I am disabled, with no car, and can't afford $89 for a home visit, plus services, or able to take her to a vet without a car. The lady over the phone seemed quite uncaring at my story, repeating herself that they are not a free clinic, and seemed not to care at all about a badly injured cat, except for repeating herself to call SPCA as well. I guess that's what you get when all people think about is money, and not the animal itself! What happened to the good old days, when people truly cared?

I just moved to Sacramento from California with two dogs and three cats, so Priority #1 was finding a great vet. The few people I know here don't have animals, so I went online to check out some reviews. Everyone was recommending about Family Friends Vet Hospital, so I called and made an appointment.



What a great place! Our first interaction was with the vet tech. She walked in with a huge smile on her face and basically let my two big dogs smother her in kisses. She answered a ton of questions for me and heartworm.





Then Vet came in and my dogs got to attack him with love and kisses, too. He actually had to get a paper towel to wipe off his face and neck when they were done with him! He talked to me about dental cleaning and tested the pressure in my dog's eye (he has glaucoma) and gave him their vaccinations. He also gave me a lot of good advice on places to go, things to see and reminded me to watch out for deer on the road. He is an all around nice guy and seems very trustworthy and caring.



My requirement for a good vet is one who pays more attention to my animals than to the human with the money in their purse. I feel like my dogs really got the royal treatment at Family Friends Vet Hospital and I'm so happy to have found my new vet. In fact, we'll be back in three weeks for my cat to get her teeth cleaned!

Everyone was very compassionate with our situation and genuinely cared about the well-being of our dog.

Our visit at Family Friends Veterinary Hospital has been great. They provide us with wonderful and caring service. The staff is competent.

This is by far the nicest vet office I've ever been to. The staff was very professional and friendly, a definite step above what I've experienced before.



(I left my previous vet because his staff was terrible, teenagers with attitude, and they couldn't answer my questions. Didn't trust my Buddy with them.)



I'm very happy with the care we got from the vet as well. She's gentle with the little dogs, which is important to me.

When I got my new puppy, I thought I'd try a new vet and was really glad I did. This hospital is clean and friendly, and the doctor was amazing with my Georgie. She really got his tail wagging.
