Holiday Aurora Pond

Dear Evergreen:

This is horrible, distasteful and childish- I would expect nothing less from you- its a beautiful example of what your company is like and how professional they are.



Here are the real facts:



*Our building has at least 4 housekeepers on M-F and 1 on Sunday that are always there to help with any thing. We provide weekly housekeeping to all residents and that includes linens.

*The rent has never, and will never be raised monthly. We often have move in specials and help veterans get the paperwork they need to receive financial help.

*We have multiple activities that go on every day of the week. You can look at our monthly calendar on the holiday website to get a general idea. This week alone we are having special events for 11-11-11, Veterans Day, a benefit Italian dinner for soldiers, and our anniversary.

*We currently have 2 bus drivers, and 1 in training. The bus provides transportation to and from doctor appointments on Tues. and Thurs., Meijers on Mondays, Joy Rides, Out to lunch and breakfast groups, Church on Sundays, Banking to your chosen bank every week, weekly rides to the library, and also a store of the week. Once again you can refer to our calendar on our website to see even more.

*We provide 3 chef prepared meals a day. Each meal has many different options and we also tend to special dietary needs for individuals. Dinner alone has over 5 different options of meals to chose from.

*Holiday is an international company and has never, ever, ever had problems paying their bills. That statement is absurd. The company grows more and more every day. We are also very involved with charity and donating to special causes. Right now Holiday is working with the program "Outward Bound" to help soldiers. Every dollar that is donated, Holiday will match it.

*We keep the air conditioners off in the hallways due to the fact our seniors like to keep the hallways and their apartments at a nice temperature and we just want to keep them comfortable. This was a request made by the residents.

*Our management team is amazing! Stop in some time and meet them, see for yourself :)

*The average employee at Aurora pond is 6 years. Our building is coming up on its 12th year anniversary and I would say 6 years on average is great! Some have even been there since the doors opened! We love it here and thats why we stay. We like to pride ourselves on our staff, if it wasn't a great loving place to be we wouldn't have moved our own mothers, fathers and grand parents in.

All of the staff and residents here welcome you with open arms to stop on in, have dinner, take a tour, or in the very least... come on in for a cup of coffee and some cookies.

Awful place- dirty, they make promises to people and dont keep them, raise rent monthly, have no activities to do, or bus to take them places, food is nasty, they can't pay their bills so they wont put AC on in the hallway. Management is very rude all of them. The serving staff is super nice but Managment is phoney and rude! I am sure why they dont keep employee's is due to rudeness! Please dont place your loved one here-
