Kira Damusis Graduated Magna Cum Laude from Central Michigan University in 2008, with a Bachelor of Science, where she majored in English Literature and minored in Legal Studies. She then earned her Juris Doctor from Michigan State University Detroit College of Law in 2011. While attending law school, she dedicated herself to working as a Senior Law Clerk for the Mid-America Pension Rights Project, a division of Elder Law of Michigan. She also gained practical experience in criminal defense as an extern for the Washtenaw County Public Defenders’ Office and the Julington Litigation Center. Upon graduating, Kira was offered a position as a law clerk and later as an associate attorney for a busy personal injury firm in Southfield, Michigan. She has brought her wealth of knowledge of the personal injury field as well as her passion for providing strong legal representation to The Smith Law Offices, PC. This experience, knowledge and skill set has transferred seamlessly to the area of Family Law and Bankruptcy, making Kira an integral asset to The Smith Law Offices team.
