        Harborside Animal Hospital is a full service animal hospital and will take both emergency cases as well as less urgent medical, surgical, and dental issues. We also offer low cost vaccines, Wellness Plans, and much more. Dr. Melissa Walk is experienced in all types of conditions and treatments. Beyond first rate pet care, we make our clinic comfortable, kid-friendly, and a very calm environment so your pet can relax in the waiting room. Dr Melissa Walk graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine and has been practicing in Hillsborough and Pinellas counties for many years. She believes that getting to know your pet is the most important aspect of providing them with quality long-term care whether your pet is healthy, sick, or has a chronic illness that needs careful and detailed attention.

        Leo, my 15 year old cat needed expensive blood-work and dental attention. So, I was forced to shop my vet of 8 years with whom I was satisfied but who was also quite pricey. I saved Valpac coupons from 5 vets and visited their websites. Harborside offered a good value and I initially went to see them based solely on price.

        My experience with Dr.Walk and her staff has set a new bar to my expectations about professionalism and medical treatment for my pet. Everyone I met was knowledgeable, attentive and genuinely seemed to care about my concerns. They have an in-office lab, so they can get quick test results. I received pre-visit and follow-up calls and emails with reports about Leo so detailed and well written that I asked Dr Walk to complement her staff after she told me that she did not write everything herself.

        I strongly recommend Harborside for the quality of their treatment, care and compassion. I'm so glad that I found Dr. Walk...I would now pay a premium for her services!

        I have 4 pets, 2 dogs and 2 cats, and they love harborside! My dogs walk right in and the staff is knowledgeable and really seem to do there best with all my pets. Would recommend Dr. Walk and her staff to everyone!

        A veterinarian you and your pets can trust.

        I am a veterinary technician and work at a different hospital, but I still bring my pets here to Dr. Walk. She is patient, thorough, and treats my pets like her own. Her new hospital here is absolutely gorgeous and state of the art. I definitely recommend Dr. Walk and her staff to anyone who wants to give their pet the best care.
