My technician arrived first 15 min of appointed time. Despite the occuring heat wave, he did his work thoroughly without complaints. Even recommended an attic installation which we do need eventually. His manners, work ethics, enthusiasm and energy is commendable considering his youthful age. He projects honesty, sincerity and compassion. You're lucky to have him on your staff!

I have the most wonderful technician - Johnny V.! He is very thorough, and wiling to answer any questions. I have learned a lot from him during the 2 visits he has spent with me. I feel like I have a hand in caring for my AC unit now. They are always on time, which is something I really appreciate. I hope he stays assigned to me for a long time to come. He had my heartfelt recommendation!

I dont remember it being this cold in a long time and I have lived in so cal for 51 years.

I went to turn on my heater and it ddint turn on a few weeks ago. I had the gas company out they said it was a recalled furnace. (The name was premier, there is no recourse since the company declared bankruptcy)

I called a few companies and scheduled estimates. I ended up choosing American Air for the following reasons. 1 showed up on time, 2 I met with Jim Jr (I believe owners son) and he answered all of my questions. He also referred me to a great sprinkler guy since mine wasnt getting the job done. 3 They were a better value and are installing a humidifier to help my sons allergies (doctor prescribed) one of the other companies didn't even know how and wouldn't quote it.

Now the installation begins. They show up on time. Lay down drop cloths almost everywhere. Explain to me what they are going to do. Jim Jr drops by mid day to review everything. I thought that was a breath of fresh air seeing the salesman again. Usually they never come back. Guys get the unit fired up and I am happy. They clean up then leave.

Now for inspection a company has to come out and test my ductwork (no Additional charge). My ductwork passes. Next day inspector comes out. Hes a normal inspector, show him around and I pass.

This was my experience. I'm happy and warm.

We recently requested a "free estimate" from American Air Conditioning & Heating and set up an appointment for a representative to visit our home. We were then subjected to an hour of being walked through a sales booklet that is similar to what you would see at a timeshare presentation. The information had nothing to do with any product or service and we were given no information about air conditioning systems at all. The representative, who indicated he was the owner's son, then asked if I was ready to buy. When I said that I may want to get other estimates or review a proposal before committing to anything he stood up and walked out. He blurted something as he was walking out about not giving a price until you commit to buy in case the tax advantages change.

This company has no ethics and take advantage of elderly people. My father (93 years old) used them to take a look at his A/C unit as it was having some trouble; they told him he needed to replace his A/C Coil for $3,000. Fortunately we found out about it before he agreed and got a second opinion that said the coils were fine and all he needed with some minor work for $180.
