This place is awesome and I am glad God placed my family there for great growing opportunities!!!!!!

This is a terrible daycare. There is absolutely no academic curriculum for the kids. They make the kids take a nap from 11:30am to 2pm which is extreme. The director does not manage the daycare or staff well.

My 5 year old son was kicked in chest and thrown off the top of a slide by a 9 year old kid. My son developed a hematoma on his chest. No incident report was filed. When I showed the director my son's chest she stated the 9 year old kid has special needs.

When I questioned her why was the 9 year old kids playing with the 5 year old kids, she stated they were short staff due to the holiday. (Unacceptable) She blew me off and kept saying the 9 year old kid has special needs.

The school should assign an aid to kids with special needs. Other kids should not be placed in danger because the school doesn't have adequate staffing.

Please do not take your children to The Katy Treehouse Academy! We did not last long there once we realized that the appearance they gave during visits was not what we could expect on a daily basis. At drop off time there were almost always too many children in the room per the state mandates on child/teacher ratio laws. The children were almost always crying/upset at pick up and drop off. Yes, they do have video cameras in the rooms that you can login and watch, but you are given a quota as to how many times you can do that. The school has set the quota at a much lower level than the minimum suggested by the PB&J video company when I called to inquire. You are allowed 5 peeks into the classroom a day, those of which generally confirmed my concerns.

There are a sprinkling of kind teachers, but this daycare is managed by a director that tells the parents what they want to hear and then continues running the school in a way that is not best for children. It is very, very sad. I questioned my child's safety every drop off. The door at the front never locked - yes, they give you a code to put in, but the time we were there you never needed it because the door was never locked, nor fixed. I also questioned the cleanliness of the diaper changing area when I realized it appeared as if every child was changed on the same changing pad with no paper put down before changes, nor a wipe down of the pad happening between dirty diapers! A lot of questionable activity going on that is not seen at first glance. Please, please do what you need to in order to spend a bit more to have your children in a much cleaner, safer environment.

I have two children at treehouse. I have been pleased with the daycare. I saw the negative reviews and wonder if it could be the ex staff. I know the management made changes with some staff and that was such a good thing. There needed to be those changes. Overall though I am happy with my decision.

This daycare is horrible. Never take your children here. The management is horrible. Especially catherine and becky. I have seen the way those two treat children and staff. Not s good environment for your children. I pulled my child from there months ago.

Please do not take your child here. It was the worst experience of my life. I had problems from the first week. The teachers will not follow your schedule and do not communicate what so ever. The afternoon teacher and morning teacher would always blame each other and never worked together. Ms.Karen the infant teacher was awful. She would always put me down because I'm a young new mom and try to tell me what I should do with my child. I never felt comfortable leaving my child when I went to work. I honestly tried to work with them for a few weeks expressing my concerns to the director but she said what I wanted to hear and a few days later everything was the same. For example one day I knew my child was well because she was waking all night. I forgot to take my phone to work so I called Treehouse to let them and call me if ANYTHING happens on my work number. The director said she has been checking on her and she was fine. Little did I know that when I got to the daycare that evening they were mad at me bc I wasn't answering my phone, my childs eye was shut from infection. The director never communicated with anyone and never check on her. I left the next week.

I do not recommend this place at all, my granddaughter went there for about a month and a half, when you first go to talk to them and check out the place they sound wonderful but after you sign up and start going there its a different story, the communication the teachers is not good at all, and when you talk to them about your concerns they just blame it on the other teachers, then when you talk to the director she just tellsnyoumwhat you want to hear but nothing changes, they take care of your child but that's it the do the minimum that needs to be done, even though they know your watching on th web cam it doesn't make a difference, my grandaughter spent allot of time left alone in her crib, she was taken out to be fed and changed and rearly put in a bouncer, when we talked to them about giving her some tummy time because our doctor recommended it they said she doesn't like it and wouldn't do it. There are more examples like this, but you get the picture, I would never recommend this place, it was not a good experience at all.

This school offers a wonderful curriculm and has friendly teachers. The school has remodeled the infant room and preschool room. It also offers an indoor playground, which is wonderful for the summertime and when raining outside. My children loved this part of the daycare! The learning center is def. worth touring and is the ONLY place in katy that offers Pre-K half-day pickup to and from local schools!
