Established in 1959 and located in Oxnard, Calif., Hueneme High School serves more than 2,300 students. It offers various academic programs, including college preparatory, honors and advanced placement programs. In addition, it offers a variety of career options. It also assists students with readiness, admission, and financial aid programs. The school s advanced placement courses include European and U.S. history, world history, calculus, biology, chemistry, art, and music. In addition, it provides various courses in English, college algebra, and analytic geometry. Additionally, it provides variety of clubs and groups, such as drama, dance, cheerleading, and foreign languages club. It offers variety of athletic activities, such as basketball, volleyball, cross country, soccer, softball, tennis, wrestling, and track and field. The school also offers library and computer lab facilities. It also provides support and guidance for students, and also assists in various reading and mathematic skills.
