All About Kids

I've toured more daycares than I care to think about and I can honestly say, All About Kids is truly the best in the area. We feel like we won the child care lottery when we were able to get our sons in there. Love the facility and staff.

I could not be happier with All About Kids! My Girls' attend Pre-K, Kindergarten and summer program! Way above standards and more than ready to attend public school! Thanks, Staff!! U r awesome!

This establishment should be retitled "All About Nancy" (Nancy is the owner/manager of the facility). Initially, we were going to take our first born to a different day care. However, word of mouth led us here as the price was cheaper/competitive. Unfortunately, the phrase "you get what you pay for" rings through. First, the meals that are provided are come from a non-cook stove kitchen/service. Secondly, as this is only a One Star non-accredited facility, we felt very little was provided to our infant through the first year except simply "baby sitting." Naps were very inconsistent, and little developmental activities were provided by the staff ("baby sitters"). Which leads to the third concern, that Nancy seemed to struggle with staffing. Little continuity for our infant was provided as there "seemed to be a young new girl" every other week or month, picking up the job for the summer or as part time while they attended school. Lastly, and most importantly, Nancy has been very unprofessional when concerns are presented to her. Given this is her personal business, she takes concerns as criticism to herself, establishment, and family (whom she employs). She has raised her voice, and was quick to point blame away from herself and family when an issue arose. Dangerously, she has voiced time and again she does not trust doctors, more notably, a pediatrician whom provides care for many of the children attending this day care. Personally, it does not sit well when a day care owner "plays doctor" against the professional advice of a doctor because simply "I have been doing this for a long time and know what I am talking about." We have since relocated our child to a different day care, one we originally had sought from the beginning, and our only regret is we did not go with our gut feeling and enroll her there from the beginning because we simply were trying to save some money.

Both of my boys (now 4 and 7) have been going to AAK for over 3 yrs and I thank God daily that I can leave my boys and not worry that they will be cared for. This facility has outstanding staff, cleanliness, class sizes, classroom play areas, outdoor play areas, food that my picky eater will eat, organized owner/management, activities throughout the summer (2-3 outings a week from Kindergarten up), flexible payment schedules, and best of all my kids NEVER have said they do not want to go! Can't say enough good things about this facility, and this comes from a mom with very HIGH standards. People who wrote bad reviews must have their priorities out of order...

Great day care. I drop my daughter off and never once worry about her through out the day. Knowing my child is safe is all I need to be happy, but they are great at everything. The preschool program is top notch, they have extra programs like soccer and basketball, and the food is just fine. She's a picky eater and she's never complained about the food. Last but not least, it's ALWAYS clean. I used to run a daycare and I know what to look for when it comes to child care. I will never take my child anywhere else. If you are reading these reviews to decide if you should enroll your child - do it! :)

As an employee and mother of a child that attends All About Kids, I couldnt have found better place for my child to be! The meals are really good and very healthy,she always gets plenty to eat. The center is always clean and everyone is super nice. I would definitely recomend this learning center to my friends and family!!

My son has gone here for a couple of years and I agree with the other review. They need a cook stove. My son comes home starving to death every day. They don't allow food from home but yet they're not providing good food. Could also do a better job at greeting parents and having someone up front in case you have a question or want to pay. Things you would like to mention, but they don't take suggestions very well. Compared to the others in town it's one of the better child care centers.

The review from B.P. is bogus, and I hate it that it could keep someone from using this facility for child care. These people truly care and do a great job. They are always adding things to improve the center for the children and I trust them 100% with my child. Disregard that review and check it out for yourself. You'll love it and so will your child!
