I had a lower face and neck lift. The unfortunate results included an extended healing period due to infection and 6 areas that needed revision. The wait time is a year following surgery for all healing; it was an extremely stressful year, trying to hide with my hair the both sides of my face and the area behind my ears to the hairline. The results were so bad that I could not trust Mustoe to attempt to correct them. Fortunately after a year and a half, I found a much more skilled surgeon and had corrective surgery to re-drape the skin on both sides of my face, reshape the tragus, remove the flap of skin behind my left ear, and release the scar tissue behind both ears causing my skin to fold and lines extending down my neck. This was a long, unpleasant journey that never should have happened.

I was lucky enough to have Dr. Mustoe perform a breast reduction and lift for me. I continue to be in awe of what he was able to accomplish, as the results have changed my life. Everything that Id asked for, he found a way to achieve. The aesthetic judgment he used during my surgery resulted in size, shape and placement that I am proud of. Feeling like this is a dream come true and I have Dr. Mustoe to thank for that. Void of ego, he spoke with a level of confidence throughout the process that left me feeling secure in his care. He was thorough and direct; so very easy to trust. When answering my questions, he was always unassuming and thoughtful. Dr. Mustoe is able to communicate his seemingly unending knowledge in a way that is easily understood by the layperson. Obviously, I read about Dr. Mustoe prior to my first consultation, so I was aware Id be meeting a master surgeon. I was not aware that I would also meet such a kind and caring man. He could not have been more empathetic and generous with his time. I had an allergic reaction to the adhesive on the dressings placed atop my incisions. Even though the rash that developed was not threatening but rather just uncomfortable, Dr. Mustoe stayed in constant communication (over the holidays); easing any anxiety I was experiencing. He gives the most attentive and genuine patient care. For both the experience and the results, I will always be grateful that Dr. Mustoe was my surgeon.

I had a breast reduction done 3 weeks ago and I could not be happier! I am 18 years old, when meeting most of the surgeons I was considering they treated me like a baby and would not listen to my requests saying that my ideas were not valid because I was to young to understand. Dr. Mustoe treated me like an adult and listened carefully to all my questions and concerns. I went from a 34 i to a 34 dd, he said he typically would have taken off more but he understood my want to continue having large breasts and that I may need another touch up surgery in 10 years and that he would be happy to do it and would give me a large discount. He took the time to answer all my calls after surgery no matter what time it was. Yes he is very confident, but why would I want a surgeon that does not have confidence in himself? He made me feel completely safe and I am so happy with the results!
