I took my friend's dog which is a pit bull mix and his little sister's dog which is some kind of chihuahua while he was in San Antonio for graduation from BMT. Driving up to the location, I was a little hesitant to leave the dogs just because of the outside appearance. I shook it off though, and gathered the two puppies to go in. My friend's dog happily begin to trot up to the place, until we got closer and she sniffed around a bit. She promptly dug in her heels and pulled out of the collar to get away. This only intensified my hesitation, but I told myself that she just smelled the other puppies and soap and stuff and was running away from a bath like any puppy would. I had to carry her in...and after getting inside the place she began to act very nervous and clingy. I just continued to tell myself that she just didn't want a bath. The staff was very nice to us, so I felt a little better and left them to go to his graduation. After my friend's graduation I picked up the doggies...they smelled much better and even had cute little bows tied around their necks. I payed then rushed off to meet his family at a restaurant to eat and reunite my friend with his puppy after 7 1/2 weeks of basic training. She acted like she was very tired and hot on the ride over...later when I told my friend's sister she pointed out that her tongue was very dry and cracked from what I imagine would be early symptoms of dehydration. I also noticed some red blotches on the pit bull mix puppy's belly, that looked like some sort of allergic reaction. When I asked my friend's family if they had seen it there before the appointment, they said they had not. Both of the dogs went to the bathroom immediately after I let them out of the vehicle, so I don't think that they were given water or taken to the bathroom during the 4 hours they were there. I don't necessarily think the puppies were severely mishandled or mistreated, but I would not recommend this location or take any puppy there again.

I love the hair cut they give my pomweenie. The service is great and I love how appointmenta aren't needed. But if you go on Saturday's you have to get there early because they fill up quickly!

My son had been a customer for quite sometime,taking both his dogs there for grooming. On their last visit about two months ago,they caused a serious wound on one of his dogs, which happens to be very fluffy so the wound wasn't obvious at first,but when my son checked the dog over he had a large cut on the inside of his leg. They didn't notify my son of the cut which was obviously done with dog clippers.Needless to say they lost two more customers.

Would never consider taking Miss Cookie to anyone else.....they are very friendly and do a wonderful job. I usually take Robin and staff a cake when I pick up Miss Cookie to show how much I appreciate them. There are places closer to me but I will not change because they treat the animals great.....thanks for being WONDERFUL to my baby girl.

If you want a place that goes above and beyond for you, this is DEFINITELY NOT it! I had been here once before and I was planning to be a repeat customer because I take my dogs to a pets salon every month and I had just moved to San Antonio but after today, I will NEVER go back and I hope everyone else will learn from my experience. They only take walkins till 3 and I knew this. I needed my dogs to be bathed and taken care of today but had to work until 3. I called up there at 1130 asking if it would be ok if I brought my two dogs in for the spa package but I would not be there till 330 because I had to work till about 3. They told me it would be fine. I drove my dogs 20 miles after work to get there in my truck (dont fit in my car) and once I get there I had to wait 10 minutes just to talk to someone! When I finally do, they tell me they aren't going to be able to take them!!! I stared at them in disbelief! I explained to them how I had called them and the person over the phone said 330 would be fine and they still told me they couldn't take them!!!! They looked at me like I was stupid and they weren't going to do anything for me. If they were an "above and beyond" business they would've owned up to their mistakes and taken my two dogs. Instead, I wasted about $10 in gas getting there and back and an hour of my time. Are they gonna pay that back to me?! I understand if they would've told me no over the phone, I would've asked to leave work early but since they told me I could come at 330 I showed up then. They missed out on hundreds of dollars of business because of their incompetence and laziness. WORST experience ever, I will tell everyone I know not to go there and I will never be coming back again.

I have taken my Dogs to this Pet Salon over 30 years and I have always been completely satisfied with the service and the excellent grooming! I am always treated with smiles and thanked for my business! I am happy to be associated with these people and will continue to take my animals to them without hesitation! (Phil Baker)

I take both my short hair dogs to Michelle's. They love on them when i drop them off and when I pick them up; they smell great and the groomers seem to really enjoy working with animals. only complaint is that they get filled up so soon and i have to get up really early on bath day.

Take your pet at own risk I had the most horrible experience and it involved having the city take my 5 months old miniture poodle to quarantine I guess it goes back to that old saying you get what you pay for the poodle came out with horrible hair cut practically shaved him poor puppy looked like he was sick and with a busted blood vessel in his eye from when they where holding him would put a negative star but have to settle with 1 star would not recommend to anyone be aware!!!!!!!!!!
