        Founded in 2006, The Gracie Barra Katy in Katy, Texas, offers world-class level Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instruction, kickboxing, boxing, and wrestling for individuals, families and law enforcement personnel in the local region. The school is open to everyone and anyone looking to get into shape, learn self-defense, and improve their overall health. Our clean, friendly and progress oriented environment allows the students to have a challenging, inspirational and warm learning and training experience that always make them feel like coming back.

        Cancellation Policy: You have to be careful after cancelation of the contract, because they continue charging to your credit card. To get the money back it may take a while.

        My family loves this place! Our son is enrolled in the Mixed Martial Arts program so he can take Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, and kickboxing classes. My husband and I like to work out so we can excercise in their gym, also. Very clean, organized, and great customer service with friendly staff. We looked around the Katy area for MMA classes for our son and nothing compares to what Gracie Barra Katy has to offer.

        no nonsense

        Great Facility --Focused experienced instruction by martial arts who have earned their belt rank -- The judo classes are run by real black belts who were given their rank by the Gracies and Machados not like many other schools whose teachers would not be considered knowledgeable by this school's standards of excellence. I found the pricing very competitive --actually cheaper than almost all other schools I researched -- They don't charge for testing, no charge for promotions, mo extra charge for sparring; the are however compulsive about technique -- but I think thats a really good attribute.
