Pediatrics of Queen Creek

My kids have been with Bethesda Pediatrics since birth and I loved the former physician/owner Dr. Garcia, but I equally love the current physician Dr. Gomez. She is very caring and great with my kids. We saw Dr Jacks a few times and he was ok, however he is no longer there. I am very happy with Dr. Gomez and feel she definitely is there to help and provides excellent medical care to my children. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to friends and family.

My daughter is 4 years old and has been a patient from the first month of her life. We have stayed through the change of staff, and really like Dr. Gomez. Unfortunately, we have seen her partner Dr. Jacks the last few visits past 3 weeks and he seems like a nice enough guy but has no follow up. My daughter has been running a high fever and each time I take her he says to keep giving her Tylenol and fluids, which I've been doing consistently. He doesn't know what's wrong. We had blood work and chest scan done Tuesday. It's now Friday and no one has called me. I called twice today to find out the results considering its Friday and don't want to go through the weekend worried. First time I called, was told results were on his desk and I would be contacted back. Called an hour before closing Friday night and the lady that answered was rude when I asked if the dr would be calling me tonight. Considering the high fever has lasted 3 weeks, almost 4, I believe I have a right to be upset that they couldn't be bothered to call me. I will find a new pediatrician that has compassion and shows concern instead of just accepting my co-pay and calling it quits on Friday afternoon. Instead of saying he will look it over and get back to you, maybe it should be he'll look at them and get back to you next week. Can't help but think if it was their child, they might not be so passive about it.
