Very bad customer service when you encounter a problem. My mother went in for a permanent on a Friday. Asked if she wanted a tight or loose perm, she said that she wanted curly but not frizzy. My mother noticed that the stylist didn't put the curlers in from the ends of her hair, but figured the stylist was the professional and should know what she was doing. She went home with a ton of chemical gel on her hair and instructions not to wash her hair for 48 hours. After washing her hair out, it hangs limply and the curls (what there is of them) are uneven. It's easily the worst perm I've ever seen. So I took my mom back to the salon to ask for her money back. Instead, the stylist was adamant that my mother had asked for a loose perm (she didn't) and that she had to use mousse to get the curls to behave. My mom has been getting permanents for as long as I can remember and she has never had to use product for her hair to stay curled after a permanent! She flat out told us she would not refund her money ($65 for the perm, $25 for a haircut) and didn't even offer to redo the permanent to my mom's satisfaction. Whatever else, a good salon treats their customers right and tries to fix what doesn't work. She should have refunded her money when she saw for herself the poor finished product, but that she refused and didn't even bother to offer to fix it says everything about the kind of sloppy business this is. Run far away. There are many good places in town that will stand behind their services and make their customers happy.
