Pampered Pooch Fur Salon The

We took our dog Bell there Christmas Eve to get groomed. I should of known better we have had bad experiences there before. But after talking to the owner I felt comfortable taking Bell back there. They called and said she was matted she was not matted she gets groomed every month and we comb her daily. I told them I would come and get her I did not want them to shave her. Well they had already started and said she would look funny so I let them finish. When I picked her up I could of cried she looked so miserable. Not only did they screw up her grooming when I went to pay the guy at the front desk told me it would be $50.00. I said no way. I was applaud that they would even charge me for what they did to her. I told him NO I was told $45.00. His response to me was that is what you paid last month. Well I did pay more last month but she had additional services in November. Than he said ok $45.00. I paid and left I paid no tip I usually tip for good service. When I got to the car my granddaughter said grandma look a Bells foot she was bleeding. Then I checked the rest of of body she had several nicks. Please if you love your animals read the reviews like I should of done. I would never of taken my dog to this groomer. I gave them a chance after nicking her before. And when they do hurt your animal they do not even tell you so you can take care of the nicks. THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DO SMALL DOGS.

Do not take your dog there. My husband and I had a bad experience. My husband took our Poodle there for the first time and when we picked her up and brought her home, we noticed she had a bleeding foot, so we called them up and they said it was a foxtail and they forgot to tell us about it. The next day under our Poodles neck was blood marks either from them shaving her too close or burning her with the razor. Her right ear kept twitching and we noticed she had been cut there as well. It is heartbreaking to see our lil Poodle in so much pain and discomfort so it looks like we may have to take her into our Vet which is right next door to them. I am very shocked this happened, we usually groom her ourselves, or take her to Petsmart which has always done a wonderful job, from asking us on how much hair we want cut and what kind of cut, etc., I guess we will stick to Petsmart or do it ourselves. Also the Groomer at the Pampered Pooch kept referring to our dog as a boy even tho my husband kept telling her our dog is a female. Sure enough they gave her a boy look and even sent her home to us in a blue bandana. I am so dissappointed I really wanted this groomer to work for us, since we live in the Rancho Vista area and our Vet is next door. But after this experience I wouldnt recomment the Groomer and would not return .

Wonderful, fast and gets the job done just like I want it. FIrst place I have found that I LOVE!

Coco loves getting pampered here. she gets really excited when we bring her. The staff is always very professional and friendly. They even called me to make sure it was ok with me to cut the mats on her ears. Prices are reasonable I would definitely recommend pampered pooch to anyone.
