- Evergreen Washelli is proud to offer The Natural Legacy green plans. These were designed with the intent to minimize our impact on the environment. Our plans include eco-friendly, handcrafted Sea Grass and Willow caskets, which may be used for either burial or cremation. Each casket is hand-crafted by skilled weavers and features a natural cotton interior. Why willow or sea grass? These plants are sustainable crops that grow quickly, require no fertilizer and are easy to harvest. In addition, willow plants can rehabilitate soil fertility and bird and insect habitat, as well as preventing erosion. We have also introduced the zero-impact Savannah urn. With its handcrafted rattan and cotton materials and biodegradable packaging, it is a perfect choice for the ecologically-minded.

I went to them after a recommendation from clergyman, who stated that they would do the best job. After dealing with them they really deserve it. The funeral service was great, and the burial service was fantastic. We placed my wife's remains and the remains of my mother in one of their cremation gardens. The garden, itself, was beautiful as are is the whole cemetary. I can't imagine a prettier place to lay their remains. The price wasn't too bad, either, which I found to be surprising given the quality of everything. But what I really loved most was how accommodating they were to our two young kids. Both the kids have had a really hard time since their mother died at such a young age, but the staff treated them and their wishes amazingly. It was a really terrible thing that happened but this funeral home really lived up to it's stellar reputation. I hope I don't have to do business with them anytime soon, but if I did, I'd go back to them in a heartbeat.
We had my dad's funeral through Evergreen Washelli and they did a really great job. The staff was warm and caring and the lobby was very subdued, it just made everything really easy on us and my mom. The place was pretty fancy looking, too, but luckily for us the cost of everything altogether was less than what we got quoted from some of the other funeral homes we called. We went with a cremation, and I didn't know much about it, but they were really patient and understanding. I know it may not sound like it's important, but they had tea in the lobby(coffee, too, for those coffee drinkers) and that just about made me able to think straight. There were a lot of nice little things that made me happy that we did his service through them. I hope that you won't have to be planning a funeral anytime soon, but if you do, I recommend this place.
