Beat kennel service I have ever experienced!

Take our dog here all the time , Everybody leaves happy. Well maybe not the dog , but she hates getting off the couch !

Just brought our 100 pound Great Pyr/Great Dane mix to Animal House for grooming. I dropped her off at 8:30am and picked her up at 2:30pm. When I brought her in the groomer asked what I wanted done and I told her I’ve never had a dog that needed grooming so I have no clue and I knew that was a open window for her to scam me into paying more for what she really needed since I’m new to grooming and she didn’t at all. She charged me 60$ for a full grooming. They don’t charge based on just breed. They charge on the thickness of the coat and how long it’ll take unlike petsmart who didn’t even see her and quoted me over 130$. They also gave us a “report card” of what all she got and when they’d like to see her back. I was very pleased.

Can't even explain how amazing the staff and facility is. They loved my jada as their own for the past 11 years. Thanks animal house for all the love and attention over the years

I took my dog for his first doggy daycare day & he loved it. They were great with him & I appreciate it!!

Animal House has been so good to my little girl! I have a crazy high energy weimaraner and she loves going to Animal House... when she realizes we are going (or even when we drive past) she gets so excited. They were helpful post spay and easing my worry when I went back to work; they gave her a great recovery with a nice private room with plenty of tlc. Thank you Animal House!

We used the day care, dog training, grooming and boarding services here for our German Shepard Puppy and the Grooming and Boarding services for our cat throughout the 3 years we have been stationed at Camp Lejeune. I would highly recommend Animal House to anyone. We knew our pets were well loved and taken care of here, the communication systems they use with clients are stellar and the prices were reasonable. I am very sad we will not have a service like Animal House at our next Duty Station. Thank you to Animal house for all your great work!

This is the best place by far for your furbabies. I have been coming here for a while now, mainly for grooming and they are excellent. We requested the same wonderful lady every time and my Marlin loves coming there. They also have webcams so you can sneak a peak and see what your baby is up to! I honestly can't say enough about this awesome place.

I missed this place dearly. My beagle Bo would have the time of his life here. We absolutely adore the staff. Not only do we utilize their day camp, but their grooming and boarding. I have never been disappointed with Animal House. I notified them of Bo's last day and the made him a card with pictures of him and his friends.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this place. For starters they seem to genuinely care about your animals. Every time I go in there everyone has been super nice. My dogs seem to really enjoy going as well & go right in with no problem. They also do the best groom my dogs have ever gotten from their bath to their nails. I couldn't be happier with this location and am so happy I found them and can trust my Furr babies with them .

Animal House is unusual in that they are a full service grooming, boarding and exercise facility for animals. They are also unusual in that their staff from start to finish is exceptionally friendly, caring, they listen to what you want, if you are having trouble getting there they have a bus to come pick you up, they are patient if you have lots of dogs and take a little extra time to get there for grooming. I find them outstanding in the grooming area, I love the four groomers who groomed my three Yorkies, and one GoldenDoodle. I have one yorkie in particular who has luxating patella issues and has to be "babied"--my groomer did the job, they connected right away and I believe she is the head groomer. She and Sharkie were meant for each other. We Loved Her and we loved the other three. They make you feel welcome when bringing your dog, dogs in for grooming and they do a wonderful job. They honor your requests; for example I don't want anything used on my pets "face" area other than Burts Bees Baby Shampoo, the reason is because everything else I have tried "stings" and stings badly. I tried hurts bees myself, with my eyes open and their baby shampoo helped with my allergies actually and did not sting at all....not AT ALL which is what I am looking for. I asked them not to shampoo my kids faces, because of this reason, and they listened and didn't. This next grooming I am going to bring in my Burts Bees Baby Shampoo , made right here in North Carolina (Durham) so they can use Burts Bees Baby to wash my babies faces. I was very very impressed with their entire facility. They took me on an "Impromptu" tour of their boarding and play yards facilities where they offer all kinds of things from real hydrotherapy pools for someone lime my babies who have luxating patella issues - to my Golden Doodle who just loves to swim in Bogue Sound along with one little yorkie who also loves to swim and he is prone to luxating patella and needs to lose some weight so this is good for him. I went on tour right after I dropped my babies off for their groom, in the event I ever needed to board there and I will. If they had had anything to Hide, they would have made me wait to see their facilities, including the area where the dogs stay and all the play yards. I have never seen such a wonderful place. They were glad to give me the "tour" right away and in fact suggested it themselves. No room was left out. Everything was so clean. The Pool area was awesome and the Private Play Yards and different types of Boarding Facilities within the one housing area are many. I plan on boarding very soon. They are expensive, but this is because I have two rescues, one adopted and one regular dog. Otherwise they would not be so expensive and also you get what you pay for. If I were bringing in one one dog, it would not be too expensive. They gave me a discount for the four dogs because I let them groom all four and said they would give me some type of discount when my three Yorkies board together and my Golden Doodle. It may not be much, or it could be 10% I don't know yet as I haven't boarded but will be boarding very soon. I feel confident that Animal House and their staff will take the very best care of my four doggie babies, and see to it that their special needs are met and that my Goldendoodle and two of the Yorkies get plenty of exercise and the one who needs to be babied will be babied for sure... Sharkie's groomer will most likely slip out of the grooming area and into the boarding facility when she has time to "spoil" and cuddle Sharkie. I love this place. I think you will also One more thing, when they bring the dogs out to you, they make you feel like you're the most important person in the entire world. Each Groomer comes out with each dog and "presents" the dogs to you with their new groom. I found this awesome. I can't think of enough good things to say about the facility.

I was very hesitant to take my four month old morkie to the groomers because such a perfect little pup like him deserved a groomer that was just as perfect. After a couple of days of calling around Animal House was the only place to tell me to bring my baby by that same day. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff is very welcoming. I asolutely loved Benji's very first haircut! We will definitely be coming back! :-)

Success in ANY business comes down to 'HEART', that's a FACT! Price always counts, but the bottom line in this particular kind of service is TRUSTING the people & the business with our 'Best Friend's, I'm sorry! All I can say is that there isn't a SQUARE inch of this operation that your pet WON'T get THE highest quality care possible! And WE should know, because from nearly the time Animal House first opened, the Gadsby family has been placing ALL their cherished pets under the care of Wanda and the incredible staff (Leslie!!) they have over there! Honestly my only complaint would be that they won't STOP hiring the highest quality pet care professionals... so EVERYBODY takes their dog their dog there, their cat their, their EVERYTHING!

We took our Shih Tzu here to get groomed last week. I had been taking him to Petsmart but the groomers wouldn't listen and kept giving him a haircut that was too long in the face. When I walked in to drop off my dog, I told the front staff my concerns and frustrations with Petsmart. A groomer came out and listened very attentively to what I wanted and gave my dog the exact haircut I told them to do. Yeah! They even put a cute bandanna on him. He was happy and smelled so good! I would highly recommend this place. It isn't cheap, cost as much as Petsmart but the groomers listen and do what you ask! Plus my little dog wasn't shaking or scared when we picked him up. He was relaxed and all tail wags. Always a good sign!

We LOVE Animal House. Our dog hates to be groomed. It's been difficult trying to find a place she feels comfortable at. We gave Animal house a try. Not only did our dog allow them to groom her, she came out happy, and energetic. We tried the boarding this weekend. We were instructed to call 15 min ahead of pick up so she could be taken out, and they could get her ready to go. When we picked her up she was fed, taken out, and her spirits were so high. We got a "report card" from her weekend there. It was very detailed, even named off new friend's our dog made. Our dog will always be an Animal House dog!

They took such good care of Heidi and Max while they were there for ten days. It was the first time I have left them while I was out of the country and I really appreciated feeling secure that they were in good hands. They are senior citizens and are used to being at home with me being spoiled, so thanks for attending to them.
