Regal Nails

I just walked out of the salon, and I am mortified. I went in to get a pedicure, and eye brow wax. Lets start with the pedi. The woman filled the tub with cold water. When i asked her for warmer water she smiLe, and said 'no dis good.' So i thought whatever. She was working on the cuticle And She cut me! I started to bleed, and when this happened i told her i didn't want to go through with the rest of it. But sHe apologized, and said she'd discount the pedicure. Now to the eye brow waxing. Usually the woman i normally go with puts a hot towel on my face, But not this time. She was going along when i hear her gasp, and say 'uh oh.' I ask whats the problem, and she says 'i accidentally waxed your end off.' I'm missing half of my damn eye brow! At this point I'm very upset so i tell her to finish up. When i get to the register she tried to tell me the normal full price. I asked about the discount she promised me, and she says 'oh you wanted discount still?' I'm usually a generous tipper, but not this time. Never again!

In one word: RUN. First of all I was quoted the wrong price on the phone. The manager, in his (extremely) broken english, just kept saying "I misunderstand. I misunderstand", like it's my problem that he doesn't speak english. No matter how slow or loud or clear I talked, no one seemed to get the message. It would seem that they rely on customers giving up on their ability to communicate, but I wasn't buying it. So there I was, fighting with the manager on my birthday, and now running late to my birthday dinner (and it was too late go anywhere else to get my nails done). His new favorite line was "don't worry bout the money", which meant essentially, "come on, just pay it." It wasn't that the money wasn't in my checking account but I wouldn't stand for being taken advantage of. In America, telling someone one price and asking for another is called bait and switch, and you can't get away with it just because you don't speak english. FINALLY he agreed to the price he told me--and acted like he was doing me a huge favor. I had to fight the guy for so long that now someone else had taken my appointment slot--my BIRTHDAY appointment slot--and i then had to wait. When I finally sat down to get my nails done, the nail clippers on the table had a thick yellow nail clipping in them. Even after all I had been through, i would have walked out if I was getting anything more than a file and polish. To top it off, the woman took FOREVER--and did the suckiest job I've ever seen or had done in my life. When it was all said and done, I was HALF AN HOUR LATE to my birthday dinner--and she WOULD NOT LET ME PAY until the timer on the nail lamp went off! After I finally insisted on leaving, I went to get my wallet--and she goes to grab my card. There she is, rooting through my wallet, trying to pay with my Kroger's card. She didn't understand, because--you got it--she didn't speak english. (And I was more than half an hour late now.) So i say, let me just get the mini debit card on my keys. I go to grab it and she starts rooting through my purse!!! I couldn't even stop her. When she finally found it, she stopped, turn around, held the debit card up, and starting speaking in chinese to her friends--she was apparently amused by it's miniature size. (Forty minutes late now.) It ruined my birthday. Please, don't go to this awful place!!!

Terrible place, i got a full set and they started falling off within 3 days and looked like crap within 1 day. My friend got hers done for her wedding and really messed her nails up she was bleeding underneath the fake nails, her real nail ripped off from it. I WOULD NOT RECOMMENDED THIS PLACE.



We wnt there when they first opened and they were washing towels in there sink for those who were gonna get pedi's that day...
