Clippers doesn't care about you beyond the initial job!!!



We were happy with the initial work Clippers did. However, the dwarf Japanese junipers did not survive the rough winter of the "Polar Vortex". When I called in the Spring, and said all of our junipers were dead, Kelly explained that our winter was especially harsh, and said they would replace the junipers. Which they did. Fast forward another year, and another rough winter......2 of the 3 junipers are dead again. So, I called, and this time I spoke to Eric. He explained the plants only have a 1 year warranty, and since they had already been replaced, they wouldn't replace them again. I said that was fine, I would be willing to pay the cost for some new plants, but that I wanted to look at using something different since obviously the junipers just aren't working out. He called me back and said Kelly recommended Hastas. I explained we had Hastas in our front planter bed, and some in the backyard already, and I wanted other alternatives, because we are already have a lot of Hastas in the landscaping. Eric let me go, and said he would call me back again. He did not call me back. I had to call him at the office, and our next conversation is quite frankly Stunning to me. He basically said that they don't have time for me. They have a lot of "big jobs" right now and they don't have time to research or address my piddly little problem. I explained that while we are just talking about 2 plants, my initial job was a "Big Job" (I paid them $1500), and that as far as I am concerned this is a continuation of that job, as the plants they installed have never been successful in our yard. Long story short. They don't care and they aren't helping. Which is mind-boggling to me. First, they must not be very knowledgeable about plants is they can't come up with one other alternative than Hastas. Second, how long does it really take to come over, dig up 2 dead plants, throw new ones in the hole and leave? Really?!?! Ridiculous to throw away what was a satisfied customer over this problem. But that is exactly what they have done. Stay away. Find a company that is more knowledge about plant options, and more important that care about the job they did AFTER they take your money.

Was in there to get salt this past winter and this place is a joke. The employee was rude. If John is working walk away and go some place else.

Awesome service, great prices!

Was in there looking for a part for my tractor. Even though they were busy, the gentleman behind the counter spent 45 minutes with me to find my part. Will only use them from now on for all outdoor needs.
