Kathy's Bright New Beginnings Childcare

We have been taking our baby girl to Kathy's Bright New Beginnings since she was 3 months old. We are pleased and so relieved to have found this home daycare. With this being our first child, my husband and I were quite picky as to where we wanted to send her but after setting up an interview and touring the home, we knew we had found a jewel. With her experience I knew my baby would be in great hands and Kathy has been great with her. Our daughter has adjusted just fine which we are so thankful for. I would highly recommend Kathy's Bright New Beginnings to any family who is looking for a safe, very clean and loving atmosphere!

Kathy’s Bright New Beginnings is a wonderful place! Mrs. Kathy and Mr. James are wonderful people who really care for my child and his well being. When I see my little boy smile at drop off time, he assures me that he is being taken care of. As a single parent who works full time, Mrs. Kathy has given me peace of mind. She and her husband are caring; their home is beautiful, clean and very welcoming. I am very grateful for their help and support and I’m sure my baby boy loves every minute he spends with Mrs. Kathy and Mr. James.

I am so blessed to have found Mrs. Kathy and Mr. James for my daughter Ava. Mrs. Kathy and Mr. James are loving, kind and take very good care of her while I am at work. I have no worries in the world when I drop her off in the morning knowing she is in good hands. And when I see my daughter smile at Mrs. Kathy and Mr. James, I know she truly is happy and loves them just as much as they love her. I am a very lucky parent.

Kathy is a Godsend to my family, really she is. My wife Amita and I are both from India, settled here since 2005. We had our first baby in 2012 named Diyaan. After going through extensive research on the best day-care we could have for our boy we signed up for Kids-R-Kids day care system in Sugar Land. Three months in the daycare we realized that our baby was treated as just an income source like all the other babies and nothing more. The only thing we expected from the daycare (after paying $210 per week) was the hygiene; but our expectations were too high for them. Our boy was sick every WEEK with ear infections, stomach infection, cough and cold etc. Other issues were that he never came back home clean..dirty clothes, snot on the face it was disturbing. We were to the point that our growing child did not gain the weight he was supposed to. That is when we decided to join some other place, and in our random search came Kathy’s bright new beginning and all the 5 star reviews made us go meet her. The first time my wife met Ms. Kathy she knew her place was the one she wanted to send Diyaan. Clean and welcoming house turned into a perfect childcare. They have more toys and amenities that most daycare systems don’t. An affable couple who is not only experienced but also loves kids.



My wife’s first comment to me was, Diyaan found his grand-mother to take care of him. Being away from the family, we always miss our family and the care we received from our parents. Ms. Kathy made us feel that we were not the only ones concerned about Diyaan. The decision was pretty quick and Diyaan is going to Ms. Kathy’s place since last few months. The difference, NO SICKNESS since he joined Ms. Kathy’s childcare, not even cough and cold. He is gaining his weight back. He comes back clean and happy. He loves being around Ms. Kathy and Mr. James (Kathy’s husband). I don’t think I can thank enough to Ms. Kathy for all the good changes she brought in Diyaan. Her experience, love, affection, personal attention, teaching methods are only few things of a lot more which deserves more than 5 stars.

I started looking for child care when I was 4 months pregnant with my first child. After a rocky road, I was blessed to find out that Ms. Kathy had an opening. My daughter started with Ms. Kathy at 3 months. She is always happy to go there and always happily playing when I pick her up. It is comforting to know that my daughter gets a lot of individualized attention from someone who genuinely loves her. My child has benefitted immeasurably from being cared for in an environment where there is not a turn style of daycare workers coming in and out of her life. Ms. Kathy's husband, Mr. James, is equally competent and has provided excellent care for my child, as well. I feel very fortunate that their dedication to cleanliness and health has allowed us to make it through the first year without anything more serious than a cold. There is not enough space to extoll all of Ms. Kathy's wonderful abilities.

Ms. Kathy has been such a blessing for our family. We were first time parents, moving to a new city and her and Mr. James took such great care of us. Before we even moved to Houston, Ms. Kathy recommended pediatricians, churches, and neighborhoods which was so helpful. Our daughter is alway happy when we drop her off and just as happy when we pick her up. We are sad to have to move away but grateful we met such a wonderful family to look after our daughter. They will be missed.

My daughter was with Kathy from the time she was 10 weeks old til 18 months. What I really liked was she kept a small number of kids and she was able to receive personal care. Kathy is easy to talk to and her home was very clean and comfortable. I always felt like my daughter was safe, and in a loving, nurturing environment. She never cried when I dropped her off, so I know she was happy and comfortable there too.



If I had another child, I wouldn't hesitate to call Kathy. To this day, she calls to check up on us and see how our daughter is doing. That is the mark of someone that really and truly cares. I would recommend Kathy to anyone looking for quality, in-home child care.

Kathy has been providing childcare for our family for the past 5 years. We started using Kathy in 2007 after our first child was born. As a first time mom, I was certainly nervous about leaving my little one. Kathy proved to be a great choice for our family and after the first 3 years when our first born moved on to pre-school, it wasn't more than a year before we returned to Kathy with our second child. It was never even a question as to who would provide care for our second child. In the year that we were away from Kathy, we still received phone calls checking in on our little one's progress in pre-school and checking it to see how my pregnancy was going.



What I appreciate most about Kathy is how much she truly cares about our children and our family. I never question their safety or well-being when they are with Kathy. Her home is warm and inviting and kept immaculately clean. The children have a fully stocked playroom to enjoy as well as a kid friendly backyard complete with playhouses and age appropriate outdoor equipment.



Ms. Kathy and her husband, Mr. James, have been a part of our lives for 5 years. We love them, have the utmost respect for them and will continue to have a relationship with them for years to come. They are wonderful people and it is evident that they truly love our children. If our little one is not feeling well and needs to stay home, Kathy will even take the time to follow up with a phone call to see how he is doing. This is definitely about more than just business for Kathy, it is about family!

My experience with Kathy has been wonderful! My son has gone to her for 3 years and loved it there. We have had a great experience. He was always happy and excited to see Kathy. She was always available to talk too anytime of the day. I would recommend her to a friend. If you are looking for childcare, Kathy is a great choice. We will be bringing our 2nd child in late January to her as well. Kathy is a very loving person and it shows in her care of the little ones! They are like family to her.

Our daughter is always thrilled to go to Kathy's. She's always smiling and having fun when we pick her up. Kathy is always willing to work with us on whatever we need. I tell our friends and family all of the time about how good we have it with Kathy. We would definitely recommend her to anyone and have!

Kathy has been nothing short of wonderful when it comes to taking care of my child. I went back to work when my baby was 3 months old and still breastfeeding. My daughter was not quite a pro at taking the bottle yet but Kathy understood and worked with her everyday until she mastered it. Being a first time mom, Kathy has far exceeded my expectations as a caregiver and I am so thankful that I found her. Her house is always kept clean and feels so welcoming when you walk in. Also, if I ever have any questions or need advise she is always there to talk to.
