Thai Dishes

I had been to Thai Dishes about 4 or 5 years ago and it was quite good. Recently, however, I took a date on our first outing and were very disappointed. The food tasted nothing like it had in the past and was not even to the standards of mediocre; the booth we were seated in had holes and tears in the vinyl; the outdoor bathroom facilities were filthy. Worse yet, I got the bill, having not observed the prices beforehand, as I ordered what I know is great at other establishments, and I couldn't believe how pricey they were, now! The tofu soup we ordered was $14, and the meals, especially, for the "quality" of what we received, were way overpriced. I asked the management if they had changed ownership and indeed they had, approximately, three years ago. Anyway, it's, now, substandard, overpriced food in a rundown, dingy environment. Maybe if you go at night when it's dark, you may not notice the dingy looking floors and torn booths which are more apparent in the light. I was embarrased taking a special lady on our first date there. Ugh!
