Dancer Strong Academy

Dancer Strong Academy is a new dance studio in McKinney. It has been opened almost a year. It is WITHOUT DOUBT the premier dance studio in the area. My daughter has been dancing since age three. We have gone to to four different dance studios and this studio is the ONLY one who understands and supports my daughter's desire to become a professional actor and dancer. This is also the ONLY dance studio that has in its staff professional dancers. The owner was a professional dancer. They understand the industry and know what is expected of those entering the industry. The instructors are dedicated to the education and safety of their students. They are supportive and caring. Their routines are updated and not stuck in the past. In the year my daughter has been taking dance, she has improved so much. More than any other place she has attended. You want your dancer to improve, grow, learn, and achieve...this is the studio to attend.

It's easy to find a dance studio, however it's not easy to find a studio that not only works extremely hard to teach your child, but also cares about the children and the parents. The staff is super friendly and always ready to answer any questions you may have. I have two children that dance at Dancer Strong Academy and not only do they adore the teachers, they are also growing as dancers. One of my children is a recreational dancer, the other is on the company team and both of them have found a comfortable "dance home" at this studio- they both fit in nicely.



As parents, we want the best for our child while still being able to stay within our financial budget- we are able to achieve both here. We wanted to find a studio where we felt comfortable with the staff as both people and educators- we found this here. We wanted our children to have a well-rounded education and boy did we find this here (each of my children have a notebook that they bring to class to take notes on their dance terms!). Lastly, as a homeschooler, we wanted flexibility and they have this here too- the homeschool classes are on the same level as the evening classes and the teacher is amazingly kind, compassionate, and able to educate the children.



We honestly couldn't be more happy that we found Dancer Strong Academy!

This is an exciting dance studio, new but with experienced staff! Everyone is so friendly and I had my first yoga lesson last week! Never thought I would try yoga but loved it! Can't wait for my class this week. Thanks Carla for getting me into the right class!
