Terminix

Do not use Terminix no matter what. We had been using them for over a year. Every time they would spray a chemical in the house. I would ask the technician if the chemicals were harmful to me or my animals, and they always said " no they were not ". Last time they came to the house for treatment, I asked the same question because things were a little different now since I had just started fostering two young kittens which were very small, and they could get into small places like the ones they were applying the chemicals. I was assured by the technician named, Jan they were not hazardous. After the technician finished. I noticed a bad odor in the house that lasted for hours, later on I broke out in a skin rash, and my kittens got sick. I called the Technician again, and he came back to the house. I told him what was going on, and asked him again was he sure these chemicals were not hazardous to people or animals. His unprofessional response then was " It shouldn't be" which wasn't answering my question definitively. I then asked to see the cannister of the chemicals he used, and lo and behold it was a highly toxic pesticide full of hazardous warnings to humans, and animals. It even said do not reoccupy treated area until after it was well ventilated which I wasn't told. Also, I was told by Terminix that he was not even supposed to use those chemicals in my home, and when asked about that. The technician stated that it was at their leisure to do so, but apparently it wasn't at their leisure to give me the correct warnings of the chemicals he was using. Do not use terminix no matter what please. There technicians are inept, and they will spray chemicals on your property without telling you the truth on the hazards they will cause you or your animals. The Jacksonville branch manager(Bob Nickerbaucher) was even more inept when I complained, and was completely apathetic to my situation. This company should never be allowed to go into peoples homes. Now I have a horrible skin rash, two dead kittens, and the worry of not knowing truthfully what I have been exposed to by this company for over a year. I am only giving 1 star because YP will not let me give 0 stars.
