Michael Eller Salon

The Michael Eller Salon is a charming little place off Fifth Avenue in Hillcrest. It draws your attention as soon as you walk or drive by it. A standalone structure, on the outside it's decorated with water fountains and beautiful plants. Clever scissor and salon murals make the sie walls of the building distinct. As you walk in, tasteful decor and friendly hairstylists are the first things you notice. Owner, Michael Eller, has extensive experience when it comes to styling hair. From 26 years in the business. Eller was the Artistic Director for the high-end Angle Salon before branching out on his own. The dcor and look and feel of the salon, like hair-styles through generations is in Ellers words, changing all the time. Tastefully I might add. His relaxed and amiable nature permeates the salon. The hairstylists at the Michael Eller Salon specialize in cut, color and extensions for men and women. Michael and this salon have been styling my hair for the past 5 years.

We have been going back to Michael for 20 years. He gave our UCLA graduate his very first haircut! Michael is professional and his work is first rate. Michael now splits his time between salons in Hillcrest at 428 Thorn and the west shore of Oahu.
