Advanced Electric of North Florida

I am very very disappointed in this company. I have used them to rewire two homes for me. You would think at this point that they would care about customer service. No way!! I ended up having this company and another one check a house for me. Advanced electric did nothing and charged me $150. The other company did the same evaluation, fixed two issues that I was having and charged me nothing!!!

Don’t worry about considering Advanced Electric, there is no customer loyalty here!! Keep
moving!

They were so fast and friendly! I called around 10:00AM and they had two guys out to the house by 11:30. The office gave me an accurate 30 minute call to let me know the crew was on the way. The technicians were very professional and patient with my grandmother who is hard of hearing. Superb customer service

Could not be happier with the service I received. Work was done quick and efficient and the price was much lower than expected. I would recommend to family and friends.

We called and were quoted a price of $85 per hour. About 25 minutes after their arrival the problem was identified and we were told they didn't have the tools or parts to complete the job. They told us they had contacted their headquarters and the tools and parts were being delivered. They spent some time trying to make the parts they had on hand work but were unsucessful. Once the proper tools and parts arrived the job was completed within 15 minutes. We were charged for 3 hours - the amount of time they actually spent at our home. Approximately an hour of that time was spent waiting by their truck for the proper equipment. When the bill was first presented it was for much more than the quoted hourly price. A call to "Bill" got us the agreed on per hour price but the number of hours actually spent "working" would not be changed. I feel that they "milked" the hours and that we were taken advantage of. I would never recommend them to anyone.

After being told by an AC company that there was a problem with the wiring to my AC, I needed to contact an electrician to fix the problem. The first company I contacted told me that the project would be astronomical in price and take at least a day to fix (and be charged by the hour), but may take longer. Then I called and spoke to Bill at AWS, and I explained what the problem was as I understood it to be. He came out immediately and checked. He discovered exactly where the break in the wiring was, and worked diligently with my Condo Association to get the problem resolved according to what they would allow. Bill was very resourceful, knowledgeable, and communicative. The quote I received was extremely reasonable.

I am writing this a year late (job performed 4/2008), however Bill & AWS still set a standard in my mind for excellence in customer service.
