I had several procedures done by Dr. Dover 5 yrs ago. Thousands of dollars worth. Needed more but couldn't afford it at the time since I had no insurance and was paying out of pocket. So five yrs later the crown on my #9 tooth, in FRONT, came out while eating a pp&j sandwich. Creamy not crunchy! I was like WOW, I have crowns I've had for 28 yrs. One being a front tooth. I couldn't believe it. After seeing what was left for the crown to hold to I was amazed it hadn't come out sooner!! They want me to pay to have Dr. Dovers negligence repaired!! I'm devastated.. I did see Dr Ashley and Dr Scallion different times for consults. I didn't ask for other work but Dr machen told my daughter just bring her on in we need to get her mouth healthy. I was excited. We got a quote, I was ELATED!! Then 3 days later expecting an appointment, was told the quote, which was alredy written on the plan had been entered incorrectly by SOMEONE, is what Dr. Machen said so it was double. Not $2695.00 but like $5000. I cried and cried. The missing crown needs an implant or a permanent bridge, since there's virtually nothing to put a crown on. My income is $1300.00 a month. I was planning on substitute teach at our small-town school but I'm to embarrassed now. All I WANT IS MY FRONT TOOTH. Even though I know it's UNHEALTHY to have missing molars. ALL I WANT IS THE RIGHT THING DONE. AND HAVE MY FRONT TOOTH FIXED!!!

I was really wanting to get my braces off before leaving on my vacation. Dr. Machen and his crew were happy to squeeze me in late in the afternoon on one occasion. Today they were working through their lunch break just to take my braces off and send me off on my vacation with a beautiful smile on my face! They do all of these things with smiles on their sweet faces and usually while singing a song or two as well. LOL. I think they were more excited than me to get my braces off so that they could see the end result! I would recommend Dr. Randy Machen and his crew to anyone! I have been going to this dentist office since I was a kid. All of the dentists have been great and are extremely nice. The staff is beyond patient and friendly. I have recommended several friends and co-workers who have all had the best experiences they have ever had. All of the hygienists are very knowledgeable and willing to help. Any questions I have ever had for them, they have gone above and beyond. When I had my wisdom teeth extracted, they were very caring and made sure that I was taken care of without any pain. I've had cavities filled and they make sure to cover any areas that might be questionable. LOVE LOVE LOVE the hygienists. If you are looking for a great practice with a great staff. I would highly recommend this office.

Little Rock Family Dental Care is awesome! I am usually nervous upon arrival to all my past dental apointments! After having a new patient exam, the staff put my nerves at ease! I completed my deep cleaning and the hygienist was very patient and calming! I wasn't even scared of the shots like usual! I defiantly reccommend this dental office!

I love this office. Their staff is friendly and the dr's there are amazing. I have had dental cleanings and a crown done here and they always put me at ease. They have always filed my ins. And helped me with any questions I had regarding my ins. Would recommend this place to anyone.

First of all I must say that im very pleased with this office and that anyone who attempts to smash talk this office is a pessimist. Im not saying that this office isnt capable of having a bad day but after my experience there I know that It is impossible to have a negative experience. They go out of their way to make you have a pleasant visit. They are so big but very organized. From the people who took my call to the checkout staff that helped make my payment arrangements for a root canal, the experience was by far the best dental one in my life. I no longer have to be afraid of going to the dentist. AND here's the kicker, the dentist was actually concerned about my dental care and not my pocket. I also looked them up and learned they have every thing a dental office can offer. They even offer IV sedation for those who desire to be put to sleep for services. You can have teeth whitening and they work with you. If you are like I used to be and deathly afraid of going,please stop wasting your time. They are GOOD!!!!!!

By far the best dental office I have ever been to. No other office is available as much or as flexible. They close at 5, but are always on call. I went in on a holiday and they treated me with such kindness and a doctor came in to see me and get me out of pain. The staff is always so bubbly and nice. They are always so clean. Thesw bad reviews are soo surprising. This office helps anyone and everyone at all times. They have a financing department. Who lets you know your patient responsibility before your apt!!! They are the biggest office in the state of arkansas. Hands down the best up to date equipment and technology to help you!!. I love this office and would recommend it a million times to anyone and everyone I know.

I love this office! had to have my wisdom teeth pulled and dr leal was great. they helped me with Care Credit and filing my insurance. I actually feel great and not scared about going to the dentist. they were so nice and professional

Best dental office in Central Arkansas! I had an emergency on a Friday, which no other dental offices are open, and the friendly and professional staff were able to get me in the same day. I was pleased to know that I didn't need to leave the office for the services I needed! They have every dental specialist in house! They thoroughly explained my case, allowed me to view my x-rays and gave me multiple options to fix my problems. Not to mention, I was able to consult with their financial department which explained exactly what my dental insurance cover! I was so impressed with Little Rock Family Dental that I plan on switching my entire family over to this office!

I highly recommend Little Rock Family Dental. They were very professional . They told me everything upfront and helped me with my insurance. I needed a root canal and they have the specialist there too. It was a great experience and made getting a root canal not bad. I look forward to my dental visits now. Go see them!

I would give this office a 5 star review! I had a wonderful experience start to finish. The front desk staff were very professional and helped me get scheduled with ease. I have high anxiety with my teeth and the doctors and assistants were all wonderful and helped me have a good dental experience. The financial department also helped me with zero interest paymemts for my root canal. My overall experience was the best Ive had in a dental office. Ill be returning every 6 months now for my cleanings.

if there was an option for zero stars I would give it to this dentist office. Well for starters I made an appointment for wisdom teeth extraction consult and showed up for the consult being told by the rude office staff that my appointment was canceled after taking a day off work. After being offered a free consult I decided to go ahead and use the dentist office. After receiving the services from the office I received an EOB stating that I owed the office $285.00. I called the office and they state I owe over $800. The dentist office didn't submit all charges to my insurance and refused to submit the charges determine correct patient responsibility. The billing and office manager is rude and are not willing to work with you with issues. I will be contacting the American dental board and the BBB in regards to this issue. Do the right thing. File all charges to my insurance to determine the correct patient responsibility.

This place is amazing! Those horrible reviews are probably from spoiled brats. Dr. Machen saved my teeth from being pulled. Another dentist said they were fine bit actually were horribly infected. I saw the x-rays so I believed him. They were excellent with my father who is 83 yrs old. They fixed his partial in one day and the partial is now perfect. I have nothing but praise. The office that handles the insurance aren't very bright girls however. Bless their hearts.

I made an appointment a week ago, called the office and gave them my insurance info. Before I made an appointment I explained to the person on the phone that their office was NOT listed on my insurance website but had heard they do accept my insurance. I then gave them the insurance name and id to verify they will accept the insurance. I took a vacation day off work to get dental work with the understanding they will accept my insurance. THe day before my appointment the office called to confirm I would be there due to icy weather, I confirmed I will be there. I got to the appointment an hour early to get everything filled out and to get tooth taken care of. After sitting in the office for an hour the person working desk says they will not be able to accept my insurance. She said they are sorry. I asked why they are just now saying that says they did not realize what insurance I had. I advised when I made appointment I told them the type of insurance as well as policy # why did they not say something then. She then got the business manager out to talk to me she advised they take some types of the insurance I have but not the exact policy I have. Says they will see me but will be all on me. I asked why I was told even after I explained that they are NOT listed on web as innetwork for me they will take insurance says they are sorry the person is new that told me that. Says they do not authorize the insurance until 1 day before the appointment. I then asked that when they called me yesterday to confirm my appointment, before I drove through the icy conditions to get there that they did not tell me then they do not accept it, if they authorize it the day before and she just looked at me, NOTHING TO SAY. I read many reviews on the business before I made appointment and all service reviews were great, all the negative ones were about this very issue or similar issues. I feel they do this just to try and get more money out of you. I lost a vacation day off work, as well as more time with a broken tooth due to their mistake.

The doctor injected my jaw when numbing and cause me to have Ostio Mylitis whish is excruciating pain. It is infection and swelling in my jaw and when I asked for pain mrds the refused to help me. I can not open my mouth all tje way my fave is swollen and a Knot where he injected me. Dr. Scallion eas rude when he injected the novacain and hurt me very bad he did not take his time with me at all. Highly tecommend using some one else.

Do not go here for your so called 6 month smile braces! you have been warned. I got my braces done there from Oct - April.. during the consultation, I specifically asked DR Machen, if I should get my back teeth pulled before I received braces. he told me no, it would not be a problem... so he took my money and that was the last time I saw him.. his assistant Lucina worked on my teeth the whole time. 4 months later I got those teeth pulled and my teeth shifted!!! he should have told me this was going to happen. ive called & called to get my original moldings back so I could get a new retainer and Lucina told me that she threw it away and I would have to pay for more braces.. when she specifically told me she would keep it in case I had any problems.. now I have to pay another dentist for invisalign. DO NOT TRUST DR MACHEN WITH YOUR BRACES HE ONLY TOOK A 3 DAY COURSE, HE IS NOT A ORTHODONTIST. BEWARE!!!!

New office manager or what happened, but this place has gone down hill. My whole family have been patients for YEARS and loved

it. We referred a lot of people. Trust me, I will not be referring anyone here anymore. The billing department sucks! They constantly have issues with filing claims on time or filing a correct claim. I have had to call about incorrect bills for about two years now after each of our visits. Now they have come up with a new peculiar policy where without asking a parent's permission OR checking insurance coverage they just give your kids X Rays each cleaning visit. My insurance only covers one X Ray per year, and the office knows it perfectly well. I've had this issue twice now. The first time the office manager apologized and admitted that the hygienist should have checked insurance coverage or at least should have asked me if I was Ok with the extra X Rays they were about to do on my kids. She took the charges off at that time. They did this AGAIN. This time the office manager has accused me of not knowing what my coverage was (what?) and told me if I didn't like the office policies I could take my medical records and go somewhere else. Wow! Nice way of treating your long time customers! Also, I would understand if I was asked if it was ok that the X Rays were taken and have agreed to it. But No one said a

Set in same year. Not to mention that the X Rays were done on underage kids without a parent permission!

The hygienists are all really friendly and sweet, and I've enjoyed coming here. Not like the cleaning job itself was the best ever. But I just liked the people. However, the billing department and the office manager KILLED it for me. I WILL be going to a different dentist! Thanks for that awesome advise, Office manager (the most unprofessional person I have ever had the displeasure of talking to) !!!

Great dental office. Everyone that works there are amazing. The doctors care about all their patients. Such a great place to be. I would recommend anybody to come here!!! By far the best dental office I have ever been to!

Love going to the dentist now! Dr.Tramel is very friendly and funny he makes the experience enjoyable. And his hygenist Tonya is so super sweet and caring. They both makes sure you are top priority and your concerns are met. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Love this place i will never find another dentist :)
