Pet owners in Cheyenne are lucky

I was blown away by this clinic. We live in our motor home full-time and have a dog who needed to see a vet ASAP. They worked us in even though we will probably never see them again. Could not have been nicer nor more accomodating. Dr. Dorsett is a gem. Cost was reasonable. People of Cheyenne are very fortunate.

Avenues Pet Clinic is a wonderful place to take your animal. This was the second time I have had to go there. The first was an emergency on a Sunday morning and they took me right in. The neurological vet happened to be on staff that day and they not only took care of the puppy but me as well. This last visit was so pleasant, efficient, and caring as well. My dog and I were very well taken care of and the phone calls that follow to be sure all is still going well really touched me! Thanks for all you do and the wonderful care that pets and owners get!!

This is by far the best pet clinic in Cheyenne. The staff is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They will help seniors and those in need with payment arrangements. My pets have received 5 STAR care here at Avenues Pet Clinic on Yellowstone. I recommend this Pet Care facility above all others in Cheyenne.

Our cats and dogs have receive...

Our cats and dogs have received prompt, professional services from Avenue’s over the years. Avenue’s uniqueness among other pet providers in Cheyenne is their emergency care. Years ago, late at night, one of our dogs, impaled his hind leg with a one inch diameter piece of wood. A telephone call to Avenues mobilized five professionals to address his injury. After a surgery that went until midnight, Avenues called to inform us that all was well. My wife and I will never forget the dedication and sensitivity of Avenues staff to address our dog's injury immediately. If not for their willingness to go the extra mile in an emergency, our dog would not have survived.

Way pricey, over sells

I know vets aren't cheap but since when do shots cost over 100$? They always tried to sell me stuff I didn't really need or want for a small fortune. The dog
I took there has since passed. Been taking my new One to a different vet with much more compassion And less emphasis on cost. Much more Affordable.

thanks

Thanks for a nuber of years worth of great service. I really appreciate how you guys greet me when I walk in the door, and I really feel like my pet is important there. It has been my experience that the doctors really care about the animals and that is very important to me. I also like how they take the time to listen to what I have to say about my animals and when I think there may be a problem. i like how the doctors that I have seen have been really good at explaining things to me that I do not understand. I am grateful for their extended hours and their willingness to come in on an emergency basis. I have had to do this a couple of time with my critters and the doctors were very nice and caring when I came in even though I think I have woken a couple of them up. Thank you all so much!

my dog stopped eating and seemed painful. they did an exam and recommended a teeth cleaning with x-rays.

My dog has had dental work before when we lived in North Carolina. They found roots that had not been pulled out before, and they did a root canel on a tooth that could be saved. She went home on pain medication and felt better ALMOST INSTANTLY! It is very important that when teeth are removed from a pet that x-rays are taken to make sure the roots are removed!

Horrible!

Their quality of work is substandard and the customer service is even worse. One of our dogs got a large gash on her leg, so we took her to the Avenues Pet Clinic to get sewn up. The vet put two staples in her leg to hold the wound together and did not even wrap it. By the next day, one staple had already come out and the other one was about to fall out. What do you expect? On top of everything, they weren’t shy about charging us a pretty penny for their crappy service. I took her back the next day so they could do it right and they attempt to charge me again because I did not make an appointment. Here’s an idea, why don’t you do the job right the first time? Then they tell me I could purchase this special bandage my dog can’t chew through for a small fortune. I passed on the offer, but they also wanted to sell me a repellant spray so she would leave the area alone. I saw their book price of $8.95, but they wanted to charge me $30 instead. I would recommend to anyone who cares about their animals and their wallet to find another clinic. I dealt with two different people on two different days and received the same crappy service both times.
