NEVER TRUST THIS DOC.....The w...

NEVER TRUST THIS DOC.....The way he has his practice set up, Dr. Mohammed Ahmed has his PA doing all the treating, all the thinking, all the medications. I went to him for anxiety, and because a family member tried lamotrigine and like it, he told me to try it. Later, finding out a large dose...huge...that he gave thru a "STARTER PACK" was for bipolar patients.....So, he would never give me a diagnosis...or so he said...and the PA's (4) said...he went thru 4 PAs in 3 years!
So, this week, I've spent 1 year going down on the meds, and felt better and better, because I can sleep, I CAN THINK AGAIN, HAVE MY MEMORY BACK, AND AM NOT FALLING OUT OF THE CAR, OR INTO MY FURNITURE OR MY WALLS....AND have my normal personality back. My hubby is surely happy. it's taken me a year to do this deduction in meds...and with anxiety at every drop for a few days.
So, I announced this to him and he went balistic! Lied to me about the dx, and the PA sat right there and lied about what she told me three weeks ago...to stay with this lower dose! SHE WANTED TO KEEP HER JOB....Thank, Michelle!
So, anyway, life is better now with another doctor who listens. THIS AHMED listens to nothing but is sort of 'cartoonish" in his speech and behaviour. It's clear the doctor has problems with communication.
I saw the PA every three months for three years and saw him once a year!
is THAT PROFESSIONAL.

I wouldn't take my dog for treatment here! Certainly would NEVER recommend this nut doctor to anybody! His suggestion to me was to go into the hospital, since I'm better than I've ever been...no depression, almost NO anxiety, except in dealing with this DOCTOR!

i would NEVER trust my mind, my family's mind, and especially not a child's mind to this quack.

Had to check one star, but i would give this guy NOTHING
!

BEWARE, DOC HAS ERRATIC BEHAVIOR>>>My 19 year old son started seeing Dr. Mohamed S.Ahmed, last summer in July 2012 for ADD. Dr. Ahmed never tested my son for ADD but did prescribe him
Strattera based on the conversation we had on the first visit, which I attended. At the next visit in August, we told him about the IBS my son has and
stomach problems the medication was causing and he said just to continue the medication. He still did not insist on an ADD test of any kind and was adamant

that the stomach pains the medication was causing would subside. 'Continue on the medication and I'll see you next visit', he insisted. I could not make

the next two visits with my son in September and October, however,my son did tell him about the continued stomach pain and irritation he received with the
medication, but Dr. Ahmed did nothing. Still no ADD testing.

At that point, my son was busy with school and work and cancelled the next visit. He left a message to reschedule the appointment but no one from the
office ever called back. I asked my son to reschedule the appointment, and as most teens that are recently out of high school do, he kept putting it off.
And now I know why!!

I ended up scheduling the appointment to go in with him because, clearly, Dr. Ahmed was not listening to my sons concerns. I was horrified and humiliated at

how we were treated at our appointment on 4/17/2013. Prior to going into the room, my son had to sign a form to meet with Michelle Beaupre for, as I was
told, 'insurance coverage'. When we met with Michelle she asked a series of questions to my son, for which he answered everything. When Dr. Mohammed Ahmed

came in and asked how everything was going, that is when I started to speak. I mentioned that he was having trouble with the Strattera and he need to
prescribe something else. I also asked about the ADD testing. He then proceeded to ask my son very strange questions. Accusatory questions that had no
bearing with the concerns I brought up. He said it was a contract between the Dr. and patient and since it had been 6 months since the last visit he could
not treat him anymore. He claimed that "something else" had to be going on and that my son was a young adult and insinuated that he should be able to

handle this visit himself. He proceeded to ask my son if he was on drugs based on the fact he was growing a beard. He wanted him to do a drug test, based

on the way he looked!! I was clearly confused. Does that mean that every man that has a beard is on drugs? He became very irate and kept accusing my son,

for which I had a response to all of his accusations. I think he felt threatened because I was there as a concerned mother. When my son went to the

appointments alone, he was able to manipulate him. Nineteen is still young to handle a conniving man like Dr. Ahmed. When he left I asked Michelle if 'He

was firing us as patients'? I did not receive a reasonable explanation from her. I told her he took a Hippocratic Oath to serve patients’ needs and clearly

was not living up to them. I know there are way better doctors out there than Dr. Ahmed and I cannot believe he is still in practice with his arrogant,

non-caring, prejudiced behavior!

If you decide to see him, be prepared, because you will eventually be disappointed with his erratic behavior! I have never in my life witnessed a doctor

act so irrational. He spoke very fast, looked like he was sweating, and was very hyper. Come to think of it, I think he might have been on drugs!!

Dr. Ahmed has been kind and compassionate when I have met with him both at his office and by coincidence before he was my doctor. Both Dr. Ahmed and Michelle seem capable, are encouraging, and are helping me live up to my potential despite my mental condition.

This review refers to the administrative staff at the Webster office. Our appointment was scheduled/accepted online five weeks in advance. Four attempts by me in as many weeks to confirm resulted in no returned calls from Webster on the appointment. The Baytown office does answer calls, but all messages forwarded to the Webster staff went unanswered. After finally confirming by phone through their Baytown office of our Webster appointment, two business days prior, we were denied the scheduled appointment when we arrived. We were offered excuses and given blame from the office staff. I was able to reach an administrator in Baytown who apologized and admitted that they have an issue, both with the Webster office staff and their online booking follow up. If you choose to pursue an appointment with this doctor, I recommend you go through their Baytown office, over the phone. Or look elsewhere for an office more interested in patient care.

I have been taking my son here for almost 2 years. He was basically a guinea pig for "new meds" they were trying out. Ive seen Dr Ahmed once and have had numerous problems w his staff. The PAs are great and the Therapy has done well for my son but their constant changes in my sons meds have taken away his childhood ages of 5-7. They wouldnt ever listen to me, always said "lets try this". My son is on a dependency developing medication now and granted that it works, he cannot miss a dose, BUT The Office staff at Psyclinic is so incompetent that every month the pharmacy has to give us at least 3 days worth of "loaner" pille which we pay for out of pocket due to the Dr Ahmeds office not knowing how to work a fac machine or understand the importance of not letting my son go thru withdraws from these meds. They dont care. They just want your money. I have had days that they scheduled me to see a Dr for a RX, a Dr for Therapy and the time I saw Dr Ahmed.. They charged me 3 SEPARATE TIMES...My insurance wouldnt even approve the Copays until I sent receipts and proof that they charged me for 3 separate doctors, not visits. I hate this place...Now i have to Drive to their office AGAIN!! to pick up a RX because they are giving us the run around

I am not sure what all the bad reviews are about.

I have been going here for over 2 years. I have seen Dr. Ahmed numerous times (not the one time as other reviews claimed). If it is routine appointment to confirm the meds are working and you only need a refill, you might be seen by the Physician's assistant. However, I have always been told that I was meeting with her prior to my appointment and she has always been able to help me even when I needed to change medicines. Everyone is extremely helpful and friendly. I underwent TMS therapy and was in the office 60+ times during the past 2 years and I have never had a problem with anyone being rude. The only problem I have ever had is that a lot of times when I call I am sent to voicemail. However, someone has almost always received my message and gotten back to me if required.,

Horrible. Just horrible. DO NOT COME HERE.

Was a horrible experience. I won't not recommended any one to come here. He has no idea what he is talking about. Horrible service by him. I've had plenty of friends who have been here and they been given the wrong medication for something. That they did not need and wrong treatment. For what they needed. Also I herd him get into a fight with one of the patients today in the office. I'm not sure what about, but I feel like doctors should handle there business more professionally. So EVERYONE DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT COME HERE. As a parent I would never take my child here or my self here again.

Stay away from this place. They are unable to handle people who actually have mental disorders. The truth is you see the doctor only one time. He is very nice and acts like he's going to take care of you and you feel so relieved. The next time you get to see Michele his nurse. She's a real card who can only follow some sort of set format and if you ask her to do anything beyond her set of cues she gets all wide eyed. She first told me her computer wouldn't let her enter the number of pills I needed for the prescription and she would ask her office manager about it. So I sit out in the waiting room for 45 minutes while she sees other patients. Finally I get upset and ask where are my prescriptions to the front desk. Those girls get all wide eyed, too, like they couldn't believe I was getting upset. Finally the truth comes out that Michele couldn't give me the number of capsels I needed because it's against office policy. Unbelievable because it's what I'd been getting from my other doctor. I told the front staff I wouldn't be back and I'd be writing the Texas board to complain. Then I get a letter in the mail today tell me that they refused to see me again. What a joke! This place is not a real pychiatrist office.

Absolutely would not recommend...

Absolutely would not recommend the office to anyone. Went for an appt. for my son and after waiting over an hour past our appt. time I finally asked the front desk lady what was going on and she told me that they had to put some non-English speaking patients ahead of us because the only Spanish speaking member of their staff was going to be leaving. At no point during the hour that I was waiting did anybody explain to me why I was having an hour wait and after finding out their explanation I requested to cancel my appt. and refund my co-pay that was taken when I arrived. They refused to refund my co-pay so I decided to go ahead and see the doctor. So after waiting a few more minutes we were taken back and we weren't even seeing the doctor. An Asst. was placed in charge of meeting with us and when I explained to her what had happened she made no apology and acted as if she could care less. At the end of my son's review (which took all of 5 mins) she advised me she would be happy to provide me with other doctors in the area. About aweek later I received a letter in the mail advising me that they would no longer be a provider for my son and wished me luck in finding a new doctor. DO NOT go here and subject yourself or your children (he specializes in children’s psychiatry) to this type of unprofessional, rude mannered and uncaring office.
