Aqua Plumbing Services, LLC

We hired Aqua Plumbing to install a pump and plumbing for two bathrooms in our basement. We selected this company because they had good reviews, however since it is a plumbing contractor, service can vary from one customer to the next. We thought the installer David did a decent job, he was a little slow and left some small parts of the job unfinished, but overall the work was fine. However, the pump the plumber installed has since quit working even with minimal use and as we have begun investigating the problem, we have discovered some major flaws in our service. First, the plumber gave us an owner’s manual to a pump that was not the pump that he installed. When I spoke directly with Aqua Plumbing about the broken pump, they said that David was no longer with the company, yet when they sent someone out to investigate the pump, it was David who showed up. I asked the company how to claim a replacement pump under the warranty and they said that the plumber should have given us purchase paperwork for the pump, which he did not. The company says that they have no paperwork on our service or the purchase of the pump because the employee who handled our account failed to keep records. To complicate matters, the serial number has been scratched off the pump itself, making it impossible to track. All of these details make it seem like the plumber did something unethical like installing a used pump and tried to cover his tracks by removing the serial number and failing to give us the correct paperwork. I have contacted Aqua Plumbing multiple times to speak with the office manager Janet and have been given vague answers and promises for call backs that have generally been ignored. I was told that I was not allowed to speak with a supervisor. Clearly they do not live up to the ethics and customer service they claim.
