We appreciate everything you have done for Molly and John. You were there for their very first class. They were so scared about karate and you made them feel so much better. Both left excited about the next karate class. You both love what you are doing and care for your students.

Mr. Spicar & Ms. Stolkova, I haven't been here long, but since I have started, you welcomed me very graciously. I have learned already much from you in a short time. I know your new school in Southlake will be very successful. You will be greatly missed here in Lexington. Thank you very much for wonderful leadership!

This is a cool place with lots of fun, cool and great forms. Mr. Spicar and Ms. Lucie are the best!

My daughters (ages 5 & 9) recently tried a Tae Kwon Do (Korean Karate) class at Spicar's Martial Arts and LOVED it! I got a chance to speak with Adam Spicar and his business partner Ms. Stolkova. They are a couple from the Czech Republic who are just amazing! Their program is the best I've seen. My daughter and I took Tae Kwon Do in California and loved it - but this studio is even better! Positive, structured and CLEAN - instilling values such as Confidence, Respect, Discipline and Fitness!! They have programs for adults too which I'm going to try also. I was so impressed with the quality of programs and people at Spicar's. I had to share my excitement with other mommies!



P.S. My girls LOVE soccer and are registered in that sport right now. We have a family policy of one sport at a time so we told them they'd have to wait until soccer season is over. They begged us to drop soccer! I was amazed! We are waiting until soccer season is over because we want to keep our commitments - but that tells you how much they liked Spicar's Martial Arts!

Mr. Spicar and Ms. Stolkova have an obvious passion for Tae Kwon Do and it shows in the way they teach the martial art. I have been lucky enough to experience their classes and I feel that new and advanced students in their school will benefit greatly from their training.

My husband enrolled the five of us (my husband, me, and our three daughters) in Taekwondo this summer to my great chagrin, but when we started taking classes I was actually having fun. What a great work out! Adam and Lucy are positive, confidence-building, knowledgeable instructors, and I feel fortunate to be learning martial arts from them.

Thank you for all you have done for me. Your have made a positive impact that has been far reaching and has therefore given me the motivation I needed to continue my journey in TKD. I wish you all the best success, which you rightfully deserve. Your students are more fortunate than they realize training under both of you.

Thank you for little over 3 years of my Taekwondo classes with you, fine instructors! As an older student, I did not think I would be a Black Belt some day but with your encouragement I did it!

Without having had Mr. Spicar and Ms. Stolkova as instuctors and fellow students, I would not now enjoy Taekwondo as much as I do. They have defined for me what I believe a martial arts school should be like. Their enthusiasm, knowledge, skill, diligence, and concern for students is both encouraging and contagious. Though they moved away to start their own school, I still remember and aspire toward the example that they set. Prospective students need look no further! Simply walk in, and they will welcome you and help you to learn and have some fun!

I think of you guys as family. I never imagined that you guys would leave (not to make you feel bad). I always feel sad whenever I think about it.

Lindsee just tells me to think of a giant cookie. It helps a little... You guys are so much fun! You both have been really nice to me. Good luck with your new school in Texas!

Dear Mr. Spicar and Ms. Stolkova,

what a sincere pleasure it has been getting to know the two of you over the past few years.

I have watched the two of you blossom as instructors, martial artists, and as young adults. You have given 110% of yourselves to this school and to my child. You come in to class everyday with giant smile, positive attitudes, killer work ethics and a great zest for life. You have taught Wynn many wonderful lessons - one of the best is working very hard can be really fun.

You both have gone well above the call of duty in coaching Wynn through countless tournaments, belt tests and board breaks. And you always had wonderful words of encouragement for him to keep him going when those boards wouldnt break. For all you have done - I am eternally grateful.

I started Tae Kwon Do just a few months after Ms Stolkova and Mr Spicar, and spent most of my time a rank or two below them. It was obvious from the beginning that there was something special about these two and even though I had previous martial arts experience I was never able to catch up with them. There dedication was unmatched by anyone, and they always set the bar for how to be the best at what you do. Their dedication was inspiring to all students and provided an unparalleled example to both the adult and child classes. I moved away around the time that they officially became instructors. However, they were instructors to me long before that. I have since then joined a different Tae Kwon Do school in another state and it is clearly not the same without them and their help. I envy their future students for the quality of instruction that they will receive from them.

I met Ms. Stolkova and Mr. Spicar almost a year ago, when I participated in a self defense class for women they were teaching. I went to that class just for curiosity but they introduced me to the world of martial arts and its benefits (especially for women). I could never be able to thank them enough! Starting Taekwondo as an adult is more than challenging (especially for somebody who has never done any sports before) but having them as my instructors made it possible. They are great! They know how to push you enough to encourage you to give your best. Their classes were always fun and exciting. I was sad when I learned they will leave my school here in Kentucky but, at the same time I was very happy knowing that they will open their own school. Southlake people, you are very lucky to have them.

I'm glad you chose Texas. It's very homey. Thank you for all you have done to help develop and promote Taekwondo America here locally and nationally. You are both great models for others to inspire to be like. Hard work, dedication and discipline is a tough act to follow.

As we all naturally do from time to time we look back to view and learn from our past accomplishments.

One of your greatest abilities is not just your physical skills but to be able to leave some things behind to be proud of. And thats a little bit of you in others.
