Mini Texans Christian Learning Center

A little over a month ago I wrote an emotionally charged review against Mini Texans due to some biting incidents. I am happy to say that since then the daycare owners, staff and teachers have worked hard to remedy the situation and implement new policies. After much prayer and watching out little one walk down the hall so happy to see her teachers and friends, we have decided to keep her in this loving Christian environment. I'm thankful that everyone was so willing to find a solution.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the quality care that my children have experienced from Mini Texans Christian Learning Center. We have three children who attend Mini Texans – a four year old in Pre-K, a 2-year old in a toddler class, and a 3-month old in the infant room. I feel 100% certain that all three are given all of the caring and attention they need, as well as the resources to help them grow and learn.

Mini Texans’ owners, Jonathan and Marcy Boynton, have created a wonderful environment where our kids LOVE to go each day. The teachers and staff are caring, attentive people and the environment is immaculately clean and filled with age-appropriate toys and learning tools. The staff know each of my children by name and also take the time to know their personalities and talk to my husband and I about them – often laughing with us about a funny moment they had or sharing something the children learned that day. They have always supported us in any efforts we are making at home – whether it be the schedule we are working on with our infant or potty-training our two-year old – they always keep in very close communication and work with us on the things that we want for our children.



My oldest child is in the Mini Texans Pre-K class and I am so happy with the curriculum they are using and the learning going on in his room. I have spent the last decade working in the education industry so I used my resources and did my research when I learned about the curriculum they had selected for the Pre-K and everything they are using with my child is of the highest-quality and geared toward preparing him for the work he will do in Kindergarten. Additionally, beyond the curriculum, they have found an impressive balance between teaching the curriculum the children will need and providing them a nurturing environment to develop the life skills they are still learning (i.e. manners, etiquette, respect, etc.).



In addition to the classroom opportunities, I have been awed by the number of enrichment activities available to our children on-site at Mini-Texans. My children have taken advantage of opportunities to learn basketball, soccer, dance, swimming, and even a class focused on computers and early technology skills. I have found that these “extras” are the things that many children in a typical daycare setting do not get to participate in because they are typically at a time when the parents’ schedules do not allow it. To have them available to our children within the day has been an incredible gift.



We have been coming to Mini-Texans for over two years now and I have been blessed to meet many of the moms and dads whose children attend the school. In all honesty, I can say that I have never had anyone tell me that they weren’t completely happy with the decision that they made to send their children to MiniTexans. We believe that it takes a village to raise our children and we feel so incredibly blessed to have this school as a part of our village. Thank you MiniTexans!

Our son started attending MiniTexans when he was a few months old. I was a bit hesitant to place him in daycare, but my husband ecouraged me that the socialization would be good for him. Within a short time I had grown to love and cherish Mini-Texans. The teachers and other staff are WONDERFUL! It is clearly evident how much they love the children. It was important to us to have our son in a Christian environmnet and we are so grateful that we found that in Mini Texans. This is truly a "learning center". My son is almost two years old now and he is thriving. He loves going to school and interacting with his friends. The facility is beautiful and the director and front desk staff are friendly and professional. We feel like family.

We are so pleased with the care and education that our 3 children are receiving each day at Mini Texans. Our oldest 2 started at a daycare in another state that we liked at the time, but now that we are at Mini Texans we know what a great daycare is like. Our youngest is in the infant room and the ladies that care for him are wonderful. We have had all 3 kids on a schedule and this is the only daycare that has ever tried to work with us on it.

My 4 yr old and 3 yr old are learning so much every day. The education and care they are receiving is fantastic. They also participate in extra activities that are offered at the daycare. We love that our son can take soccer and computer lessons and our daughter gets to take dance lessons. They both take a class that teaches them about being healthy and all the muscles in their bodies (they can identify more muscles than I can).

Everyone at Mini Texans is caring and sensitive. The owner, teachers, and ladies at the front desk know every child and all of the parents. As a concerned parent, I feel like everybody at Mini Texans is dedicated to caring for each child's individual nature and needs and my kids are so happy there. If you aren't able to stay home with your children and are looking for a loving place to bring them I encourage you to visit Mini Texans.

As a working mother, I realize how important it is to know your child is in the best possible care when you're not there. I feel very confident this is the case at Mini Texans Christian Learning Center.

Our children have attended Mini Texans for one year. Every member of the faculty at Mini Texans knows each of our children by name. My husband and I are also greeted by name each time we walk in the school. We have a 4-year-old son who is in the Pre-K program and an 18-month-old daughter. They both look forward to going to school every day and have learned so much since they have been there. In addition to daily school work, our son has developed strong Christian values and has also been able to participate in several extra-curricular activities such as; soccer, Spanish, computer and swim lessons. He is excited to share with us what he learned each day.

My husband and I feel so blessed to have our children in such a wonderful school where our children are well cared for, nurtured and have learned so much. We highly recommend this school to any parent looking for the same experience for their child.

Our son was staying home with a Nanny soon after he was born and we were a bit torn when she announced that she would not be able to work for us any longer due to another family member having a child and needing her services.



We did a lot of research and tried out one other daycare briefly and it in now way compared to what we found once we finally made the leap and signed up with Mini Texans. We have been nothing but thrilled ever since. It is never easy to leave your child while at work all day, but since we must, we have grown to really love the folks at MT and the constant love and attention they give our 7 month old. He lights up in the morning when he sees his classroom and teacher and friends and has the same on his face when we pick up. Thank you Mini Texans!
