Air Specialty Heating & Air Conditioning

We relocated to Chesapeake, VA last summer and purchased new construction. Ever since we moved in, we have had issues with the HVAC system distributing equal air to all of the bedrooms upstairs. We've had the contractor for the builder come out 3 to 4 times with no results. I set up thermostats and have recorded up to a 7 degree variance between our bedroom and our sons bedrooms. The last technician they sent out told me that was to be expected. We had planned to take this information to the builder in hopes of having the contractor make it right. The problem was never resolved by the contractor.

Luckily I met Andy with Air Specialty, and told him what we had been going through. He told me on the spot that he had no doubt he could fix the problem. Andy came out and was able to trouble shoot a couple of things, and resolve the issue. Furthermore, Andy didn’t try to sell me something that was not needed in our home.

My boys are no longer freezing in their bedroom in the morning, and I would definitely recommend Air Specialty to anyone with a HVAC problem. Very trustworthy company, and that can sometimes be hard to come by!!!

I needed a second opinion on the condition of my HVAC unit after I experienced some AC issues. ASC treated my problem like it was their problem and fit me into their schedule immediately. Dan completed the inspection and let me know what did or did not need to be replaced in plain English!

On June 11th the people from Air Specialty Corp replaced my 2.5 ton heat pump system. We had been renting out the home for several years and the system that was here was 12 years old. Andy the sales person came out and explained in detail how the new system would save us money because of the efficiently. I’m VERY happy to report that he was correct. We have seen our power bills drop by 25%! The install crew lead by Anthony was very professional. They put down tarps and plastic on the stairs. We were impressed by the professional and courteous staff at all stages of the project - the initial assessment and equipment recommendations (Andy), the installation (Anthony and Derrick), and the QA (Johnny and Scott). The cheery office staff (Cathy and Samantha) coordinated the comings and goings of these men as well as the supporting electricians, brick layers, and city inspectors. While there were a few hiccups along the way they were quickly identified and resolved to our satisfaction. The new digital/wi-fi/ thermostats controlled locally or remotely via IPAD/IPhone have added a welcome improvement to our ability to control our environs. We look forward to future interactions with Air Specialty technicians as they provide routine service to our system.

Andy and Air Specialty did an outstanding job for me and my family. They were professional, prompt, and thorough. I had a room that was unusually warm and they diagnosed the issue, designed a solution, and solved the problem. They went above and beyond the call of duty. My room is no longer too warm and their solution increased air flow to other rooms as well, BONUS! I can't recommend them highly enough. They are head and shoulders above anyone else in the area.

Shortly after purchasing our home in VA Beach, we immediately noticed that our HVAC system was not working properly. Our house was really cold in the winter and hot in the summer.
