Carol Ann's Home

After looking at over 20 assisted living facilities in the area before picking my father up, Carol Ann's went #1 to my list right off. The facilities are beautiful,clean, and "homey", the owner is awesome, and ALL the nursing staff/and care staff (including Melissa)go above and beyond to make sure their clients and family feel part of the "family" at Carol Ann's. If you are looking for a "family" atmosphere, where they put your family's needs at the top of their list, you will not find a better place then Carol Ann's. I read through a recent post, and I know the situation very well. Unfortunately, the person who wrote the things about Melissa, has never met Melissa in person, so she doesn't know the sweet, loving, caring person she is, nor does she know the care her father gets from her. Lorin just a negative person who because of monitored situations, has not been allowed to speak to her father, after being thoroughly monitored by APS, social workers, the family, and the authorities. She's tried everything, without success, and this is her place to vent, along with other places, that we are finding. The only REAL PROBLEM is Lorin, not the facility. The authorities have been notified, and they are doing everything in their power to stop her, unfortunately, she has been told to stop, and wont. Sooner or later her lies will catch up to her. My suggestion to anyone looking for a place to have their family member call "home" is to check out Carol Ann's for yourself. I cannot say enough good things about them. If you are looking for a warm, loving, caring facility, that feels like a "family" and "home" then Carol Ann's is the place for anyone in your family. I cannot say enough about the staff and the owner, who despite putting up with family members out of control, and things that are being said by one very lonely, sad, negative person, has been nothing but kind and understanding through a very difficult family dynamic. My recomendation always is to look for yourself. If it might not be what everyone is looking for, but definately what I was looking for, for my loved one, and would not change my decision for anything! My parent has come so far in such a short time, and is so happy and content at Carol Ann's!! My last and final remark would be this. Remember, there is always "someone" who has nothing better to do with their time but speak negative about any and everything, and unfortunately with as many "social media" sites out there, you cannot stop someone from writing their opinion down, but you can educate yourself, and make the decision that is best for your family....and I hope you do!! Making this kind of decision is hard enough, but when you have someone doing things like this any chance they get, that should tell you that Carol herself, her staff, and people involved are doing their jobs superbly, not the other way around! Good luck in whatever choice you make for your loved one!

Carol Ann's Home is a great assisted living home!!! As a family member I truly appreciate all the love and attention. Melissa is a wonderful care giver!!

This is the place for a loved one to be well taken care of. This place will always be my first choice

I have my grandmother at the chambers location, but helped out with entertainment

at this location. I can see alot of love and caring here just like the other one! Great place
