Japan Karate Institute

Excellent instruction in an authentically taught Japanese Style of karate (Wado-Ryu). Instructors are friendly, highly knowledgeable, and passionate about their own martial arts training which inspires enthusiasm in learning from all students and a very positive energy in the dojo. In addition, the rates are very reasonable and they do not try to lock you in a contract. You pay as you train. In my opinion, this establishment is one of Winston-Salem's hidden gems, and I am very fortunate to have found it.
