I went in recently to this location for contacts. The optician Leo and Dr. Chavana were GREAT. Clean atmosphere. Friendly staff. Thank you guys!

Very nice office. Lots of glasses to choose from.

I did not have an exam there, but the person that help me was extremely knowledgeable about glasses and my insurance. They made my glasses that day. I recommend you go there.

Had Lasik. Perfect Vision.

The staff and doctor at Today's Vision are well trained in Lasik. They eased my fears by explaining in detail the procedure and expectations. Doctor Chavana even called me the night of my surgery to make sure I was comfortable. I would not hesitate to do it again

Great place to get an eye exam. I walked in their front door and explained that I just tore my last contact this morming and I was on the way to work. The staff was very nice and was able to start my exam immediately--no wait! The doctor was very knowledgeable--he explained all my options based on my high prescription. They had my contacts in stock. Very happy today!

Dr. Chavana and his staff made me feel very comfortable and explained everything to me very thoroughly. I would recommend him to anyone. I had an exam and left with contacts and glasses in less than an hour!

My experience at Today's Vision Gateway was excellent. I was greeted promptly upon arrival. I have an eye condition called keratoconus which prevents me from having clear vision with regular contacts and glasses. I have been to many doctors who could not clear my vision better than the big "E" on the eye chart. I had seen Dr. Chavana at a local laser center, and he suggested Synergeyes contacts. When I arrived for my fitting for this custom contact, Doctor Chavana and a representative from the Synergeyes company were there to fit me with my new contact. I am now 20/20. They have also, scheduled a procedure to stabilize my condition. I greatly appreciate what this office has done for me. I have recommended this office to all my friends.

I have been to many opthamologists and optometrists in my life but "Dr" Mark Chavana at Today's Vision has got to be the worst. I don't even know where to begin. My appointment was at 3:30 and I didn't leave there until after 6pm! They were so slow and kept leaving me in rooms by myself for literally half an hour or more at a time. At one point he stopped my appointment so he could check 3 post Lasik patients. The staff was rude and nobody seemed to know what they were doing, how to charge insurance, anything. It was like the blind leading the blind. The "dr" had no bedside manner at all and was not concerned about my appointment running 3 hours even after I told him I had to get my child from daycare before 6:30 or else I'd be charged $1 a minute. He basically told me I could leave if I wanted, he didn't care and he'd bill my insurance anyways. What a jerk. And their frame selection? Not only was it laughingly small but they were incredibly overpriced. When I told them I didn't want to buy glasses there the lady suddenly had to go "help a patient" and I had to wait even longer. Then to top it off, the prescription they gave me was slightly off and I couldn't see well out of my glasses when I got them from Lenscrafters. There was no way I was going back there so I just paid for a second exam somewhere else. Save yourself time, money and hassle and go somewhere else. There are plenty of places in Austin. Don't get roped in by the "they must be good because they are by the Arboretum" hype like I did. I can't BELIEVE Mann Eye Institute uses him for their North laser screenings. I'd rather drive down South than see him.
