I took my computer in there last week, and was told that it would be 3 to 5 business days before I would even have my computer looked at. At first, I was kinda bummed but I had checked everywhere else and they were two weeks out. So I left my computer with the expectation that I would get it back this week. I received a call in two days telling me that my computer was ready AND that it didn't cost me as much as I had originally been quoted. Thanks Altec for your expert service and attention to detail, my computer runs better than it did when I bought it new. I know where to buy my next computer!

Windows wouldn't start on my Dell laptop so I brought it in to Altec. I told the technician the situation, and he acted like he already knew what the problem was and how to fix it. That was very impressive. In just a few short days he had my laptop back up and running better than it did before.

I enjoyed shopping here because the retail employees didn't try to mislead me to get the bigger sale. They told me strait up expert advise on what the best course of action would be for me. On top of that they didn't make me feel like "just another customer," they really try to get to know you in order to give the best advice.

I really like these guys. They're professional, courteous, and quick. Really like the store too! They have a nice selection of products and competative prices.

I was very impressed with the amount of dedication the employees showed to taking care of me. They were all very nice and brought things down to a level that I could understand.

After continuous abuse by local big box stores I gave in and decided to give a local computer outfitter a shot. I needed some work done on my laptop so I brought it in to Altec. I was surprised at how fast & inexpensive the repairs were! The staff was very knowledgeable and assured me of any questions/concerns I had. The repairs cost me half the price that I had paid for similar service done at Best B uy. It is also nice to support a locally owned operation.

After shopping at Best Buy, I stopped by Altec Computers. This one was a no-brainer. They built me a custom machine to play my games at a great price plus a standard 3 year warranty. These guys really know their stuff!

This is the only computer store in the area that I will shop at. They're just like us. They hate they big box stores prices and terrible customer service. It's the kind of place where you can get to know the people and they all become your friends. Anytime I have a computer question I either walk in or call up and ask and they're always glad to help. I have spent a long time trying to find a computer company that offers great products and customer service at great prices. After bringing my computer to other local companies, I heard a commercial on the radio for Altec and decided to try them. FINALLY, a computer company that I can talk to. They don't talk the foreign computer language to me. They make it in a way that I can understand, and generally come in lower then what was quoted. I refer all of my friends and family to them. They are without a doubt the best of the best! Thanks Altec!

My computer recently had a terrible virus problem and was shutting down periodically as well as deleting my files.. scary! I have a lot of important data files - I'm a college student .. my entire college career is on my computer! The service technicians at Altec were extremely helpful. I brought them my computer on a Wednesday and by Friday afternoon they had already solved the virus issue and even suggested a good program to keep it away. I've taken my pc to several other places in town but Altec was genuinely the fastest and cheapest by far! I probably would have spent $200-300 taking it to the geek squad.
