About two years ago Rolex introduced the Oyster Perpetual 41 in new vibrant colors. Although I've never done business with Hamilton Jewlers, I inquired about the OP 41 and Diane Alicino couldn't have been nicer and gladly took my order. I was told I was the first person to inquire about this watch and this was the first order they received. Now as any Rolex watch enthusiast knows supply is very low these days and the demand has never been higher. And to be fair, reputable establishments like Hamilton Jewlers have a long and strong customer base and many of them spend significant amounts of money with them throughout the year. These relationships are important and it stands to reason that these clients may ask for an accommodation on occasion with regard to a difficult to acquire Rolex sports watches like the new OP 41. With that being said, Hamilton Jewlers and Diane Alicino honored my order and fulfilled my desire to obtain this watch. I am confident they could have offered it to any number of clients but they conducted this transaction in a very honest and honorable way and it doesn't surprise me that they have been in business for 100 years. As I said to Diane, "A great performance deserves applause" and Diane Alicino and Hamilton Jewlers receive a standing ovation from me!
