Pediatric Center

I am a veterinarian and the mommy of a 2 month old. We take our baby to Sugarland to see Dr. Knoebel. I have very high expectations, and she never fails to meet them. She is amazing! Calming, gentle, and answers all my medical questions thoroughly. Baby hasn't been sick yet (knock on wood), but for wellness visits I have no complaints.

I recently had to switch my 5 year olds doctor because of my insurance change. When he was born, I used the pediatric center, and they were awesome 5 years ago. then i had to switch doctors to the clinic (all the doctors and nurses there are great, just way too busy and long waits). i switched back and i dont know what happened but both times i went and saw different doctors, they just seemed too busy to accually care. My son has been running a mid grade fever for about a week with no symptoms, dr. patel tells me he probably just had an infection and its already cleared. says to bring him back next week if he continues with fevers to have blood tests taken. She was in there for less than 5 minutes, and had no time to answer my questions. Only good thing was we were in and out in less than 30 minutes. But honestly i would of reather waited longer to get better care for my child. Its a sad world when peditricians dont even take an interest in the kids they are supposed to be helping.

i have a 3 yr old daughter that does not talk, and was not walking till the age of 2. I have been going to this clinic for about 2 yrs now, since i have been there they have not taken not one interest in finding out what is wrong with my daughter. They only do the basics on what is needed for that day. I'm the one that has to call and ask for a reference for a neurologist and a foot doctor, etc etc. I am currently looking for another doctor that hopefully takes more interest in my daughter because obviously they don't care to find out what is wrong with her. I'm only sorry that i didn't switch sooner.
