First visits were fine. I even wrote a letter of appreciation for the receptionist as she was very helpful. MY experience has gone downhill every since. When you call the person you talk to can barely speak or understand English. Not a detriment in itself but frustrating when trying to talk about your health care. To add injury to insult I was told I had to take a other breathing test before I could get some additional equipment that was ordered by my Doctor. It has been two months of hassle, incompetence and a waste of my time. If my Doctor does not have an alternative source of equipment, I MAY be changing Doctors. I went threw ten days of hell at an SCL Hospital because of oxygen deprivation to my brain; have traveled back and forth to get equipment, moved and sent in a change of address (which did not get recorded on my records) and then found out today that in order to get new equipment, I would have to take a breathing test. MY DOCTOR and a few other Doctors determined that I needed oxygen equipment (I have an oxygen generator in my house); okayed previous purchases and then I was told that APRIA required that I have a further breathing test. Additionally, I was told that Medicare required this test. I am serious about changing Doctors if my present Doctor can not give me another supplier. Thank you for reading. Read and Heed! Find someone else!

Well not very good at phone orders. I placed my order two weeks ago and still no package. One week later called to complain and of course there sorry for the delay and reordered my oxgyne tubing. OK, was told this one would be here two days later, nope still nothing I call again, same story. Their delivery times needs to be changed . My opinion, be there on time at time and date stated. Don't deserve the star

Terrible Customer service. Call Centers are really bad. Can't change appointments without being transferred or having to call another No. I was redirected three times and then the last individual never changed the appointment day and time. The drivers aren't informed of changes. Hard to imagine how they can stay in business.

This company doesn't deserve one star but that's as low as I could go! The absolute WORST customer service EVER!!! Refused to bring my very sick 88year old mother her Oxygen when she was discharged from Longmont United ER because of various lame paperwork excuses. After an 8hour battle we were set up with Major Medical who were at our door within 15 minutes!!!! An Apria rep had sent home an oxygen tank from the hospital... Office person said that was a "mistake" and not only would they not send any more but they were not going to pay for that tank!! Avoid this company at all costs!!!!

Worst Company EVER

My husband needed a Cpap machine. It was turned over to Apria, who called to tell him that our insurance would pay at 100%. He questioned it since we have a super high deductible. Again, the rep reassured and confirmed it was going to be paid at 100%. When we went to pick up the machine, we again questioned the amount we would be responsible for. We told the rep we had a high deductible, and expressed our concern as to the cost (just in case the insurance company did not pay). She told us she could not give us a cost of the machine but her notes confirmed the insurance would pay at 100%. In July we received a bill for $300+. I called and was told we only had to pay that amount, but then it was ours. I was also told the machine's total cost was over $1700. I gasped and explained to the rep that we could not afford such an expensive machine and said we would bring it back. She claimed it was too late and it was our machine once I paid the amount owed ($300+). I paid it. This month I received another bill and wen I called I found out we will have to pay the remaining amount eventually because of our deductible. And even if I brought the machine back, we would still owe the total amount., but if I brought it back in July we wouldn't have been billed. Apria would NOT take any accountability for misrepresenting their product and kept repeating we signed the release form. I was lucky enough to be granted the opportunity to speak with one of the managers who continued to claim it was my responsibility of the insurance. I replied I knew they wouldn't pay due to our deductible, and I told every person I spoke with from the start of the process, and it was their representatives who kept reassuring, continuing to ignore what I was telling them just to ensure payment. Biggest scam ever, especially since it as to do wit breating issues!!!!! So now we are stuck with this crappy machine for the small fee of over $1700+. DON"T EVER GO TO APRIA

Absolutely the worst company I was forced to use. My friend from out of state went to Urgent Care as she was suffering from Hypoxia and required oxygen. Urgent Care faxed the orders needed to have an oxygen concentrator delivered to my house that night. The nurse on duty warned us that Apria received numerous customer service complaints and instructed us to verify with Apria when the concentrator would be delivered. Per the nurses instructions we attempted to verify the order, but talked with numerous "customer service" professionals who had trouble verifying the order. Finally, we received a call from Apria stating they had received the order, but could not verify the insurance so requested a credit card number over the phone. This was 9:30 PM, 3 hours after Apria received the order. We were told the technician would be dispatched that night and that the oxygen would be delivered no later than 1:00 AM. We waited until 1:20 AM then called Apria which turned into an hour long fiasco because they could not locate any order nor any scheduled delivery. The level of incompetency with this company makes you wonder how they stay in business until you are told they are the only provider of oxygen in this area. Due to our insistence, we were finally called back at approximately 2:30 AM by a "Branch Manager" who explained that the computer goes down for maintenance until 3:00 AM every night and nothing could be done till after 8:00 AM the next morning. I began the ordeal once again of contacting "Customer Service" who kept transferring my calls to various numbers and to people who said I was transferred to the wrong number and that they could not help me. Finally, after the transfer merry-go-round started, I was connected to a shining star in this abhorrent company named April. She was the only person during this ordeal that actually seemed to care about a patient. However, she could not verify when the oxygen would be delivered. She just said sometime today. It is now 10:00 AM, Apria has been open for two hours and still we have not received confirmation of a delivery. During this process we have had to deal with "Customer Service" who are in call centers in Arizona, Tennessee, and that the drivers who schedule the delivery of oxygen are dispatched from a central office in Minnesota. This model for a company clearly does not work and is not only inefficient, ineffective, and borders on negligence.
