I recently had Custom Fence Company install a privacy fence along the west and north boundaries of my property. I am very pleased with their work. The fence is beautiful. The crew had very easy going temperaments, perfect for dealing with difficult neighbor issues so often present with fence installations. The lead installer has forty years experience in fence construction. The fence is perfectly lined up. He constructed a beautiful individual board step down to transition the fence through an elevation change. Since the installation of the fence the interior of my property is so wonderfully private and peaceful. I am glad to highly recommend Custom Fence Company. If you choose them to construct your fence you will not be disappointed.

I recently moved from South Bend to Elkhart into a home with a HUGE backyard. My home in South Bend had a fenced in back yard for my 3 dogs, and I knew that I would have to have the new house fenced in as my dogs are used to running free throughout the day because we have pet doors.

With the size of the yard I got 3 estimates, and Custom Fencing came in the lowest of all 3. So much lower that I thought there was a mistake in the figures. Rich, the owner told me that his figures were right and he double checked everything….because of this I choose to go with Custom Fencing. I am very happy that I did.

We planned on getting the fence in late October; however we had to move sooner than expected. I contacted Rich and he readjusted my install so that we could get moved in and the dogs would have a place to run. The job looks wonderful and the workmen ship is outstanding. The fence was put up fast and Rich and his crew took the time to make sure that there were no areas that my dogs could get out.

I had them put in >600 feet of 5' chain link fence. It looks great. They were very helpful in suggestions for what would work best for my project and budget. Everyone that I dealt with was very friendly and the project was done very efficiently.

Custom Fence company installed a mix of 2 different types of fence on my property, a pretty large job. I had 3 other companies come out to bid the work and they did not put the time or effort into helping me decide on what it was that i wanted the way that custom fence did. I wanted privacy fence and a dressed up type of chain link. The company owner himself came out to take measurements, gave me a thorough consultation and came out again to show me some pictures and samples of the material that I could choose from. We went with a 6' vinyl privacy fence and a 4' vinyl chain link with a wood frame that he called san lido.

To make it even better, they were almost the cheapest bid too. Service was excellent throughout and 2 of our neighbors liked the fence so much that they are going to have them do work at their houses as well. Very friendly attentative ownership and employees. I cannot imaging another company in this area providing this high level of service leading to so much satisfaction. We love our fence! Our children and dogs are safe now too.

Another note that the owner warned us of is random people who are quoting fence jobs. Many do not have experience and definately have no business license or insurance. He said they may charge less but if an accident happens we are responsible and if we have issues with the owrk in the future they will not be there to help us. He told us that his company stands behind their work and will always be there to help us with any thing that we need done in the future. Thanks again Custom Fence. If you need a fence installed or repaired, I would highly recommend using Custom Fence. They came out within 2 days of me contacting them to give an estimate. The owner was very professional, answered all of my questions, advised me on what he thought would work best for our budget and gave me a very fair quote (much cheaper than the 2 other quotes that I got from Schuell and Cal Pro) the following day. His crew came out and did an excellent job on the installation and were also very friendly. They did not mess our lawn up and cleaned up after themselves. The fence looks beautiful.We were referred to them by a family friend, and it was well worth it. The owner also came out to the job a few times and called us after it was completed to make sure we were happy and to let us know that they offer a referral fee for any job that they get that was referred by us.
